We begin the Rosary with the Creed, followed by one Our Father, three Hail Mary`s and one Glory Be. Then we choose one set of Mysteries to go with the five decades of the Rosary. For the time it takes to pray one Our Father, Ten Hail Mary`s and one Glory Be (a ``decade``) we meditate on the Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous and Glorious Mysteries in the life of Christ. Chapel Council Meeting/ Prochain reunion du conseil de la chapelle: Tuesday 17th November at 7pm in the Chapel Social Room. Marde, le 17 novembre a 19H au salle sociale de la chapelle. Children’s Liturgy Every Sunday during Mass children are invited to join our liturgy instructors to learn about our Lord, His Church, His Ways and most of all His love for us. They will be taught to say prayers, learn about the scripture, saints, Bible stories and make crafts. All children are invited (approx ages 4 to 10 years), parents may attend with a younger child. Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion Parents desiring their children to receive these sacraments are to contact Fr. David as soon as possible. Preparations with the children will be occurring from October to November for First Reconciliation in the spring for First Communion. Cosmology Series There are so many signs around us of God’s existence. Come out and learn more about the stars and universe around us; a video and dialogue series to be held in November 2015. Contact Fr. David for details if interested. Ways to Remember As Veteran’s Week and Remembrance Day approach, find out ways to engage your family in a manner beyond the usual. The Month of the Holy Souls In our Catholic Tradition, November has always been known as the Month of the Holy Souls where we pray in a special way for the peaceful repose of those who have gone before us. Quite often families will have Mass offered, pray for their dearly deceased loved ones and make a visit o the cemetery. Knights of Colombus ( KofC) Purchase (Gift) Cards / Cartes d’achat des Chevaliers de Colomb (CdC) The KofC sell purchase cards at face value, for groceries, gas, restaurants and numerous stores.
