Le Musée Royal d’Afrique Centrale : Dans le magnifique parc de
Tervuren, vous découvrirez toutes les facettes de l’Afrique : une collection d’objets uniques évoque la culture populaire, l’expression artistique et côtoient la faune, la flore, la géologie, l’archéologie, l’économie, l’agriculture et l ‘histoire.
L’Arboretum : La création de l’Arboretum fut entreprise en 1902 sous
l’égide de Léopold III. Ce ‘musée en plein air’ regorgeant de plus de
400 espèces étrangères d’arbres est unique au monde. La partie
consacrée à la côte ouest de l’Amérique du Nord est très impressionnante, avec ses beaux séquoias, tout comme les araucarias des Andes. L’Ancien Monde mérite également toute votre attention, avec des
espèces rares du Japon, de Chine et du Caucase.

Koninklijk Museum voor Midden-Afrika : In het prachtig park van
Tervuren, vind je het Afrikaanse continent in al zijn facetten. De rijke
volkscultuur komt aan bod dankzij een unieke collectie beelden,
maskers, gebruiksvoorwerpen en muziekinstrumenten. Wie
wetenschappelijke interesse heeft kan terecht in de zalen over
geschiedenis, archeologie, economie, geologie, landbouw en zoölogie.
Het Arboretum : Het geografisch Arboretum werd vanaf 1902
aangelegd in opdracht van Leopold III. Dit openluchtmuseum met
meer dan 400 verschillende uitheemse boomsoorten is enig in de
wereld. Vooral de prachtige sequoias en de araucarias uit de Andes
vallen op. Ook de oude wereld, met zeldzame soorten uit Japan,
China en de Kaukasus is zeker een bezoek waard.

The Royal Central African Museum : Inside the beautiful park of
Tervuren, you can discover the African continent in all its aspects.
You’ll notice its rich culture thanks to a unique collection of statues,
masks, general objects and musical instruments. Those of you with
scientific interest can go to the halls of history, archeology, economy,
geology, agriculture and zoology.
The Arboretum : The geographic Arboretum was laid out in 1902 at
the request of Leopold III. This open-air museum with over 400
different foreign species of trees is unique in the world. The part
dedicated to the North American west coast with its beautiful sequoias
and the araucarias from the Andes is specially eye-catching. The
ancient world, with rare species from Japan, China and the Caucasus
is also worth seing. Open all year round free entrance.

When on “Rue de Rosières » go
down till the next roundabout and
continue straight on, on the “Rue
de Genval” then on “Rue de Malaise”.
Continue to follow the road and
the name of the street will change
to “Rozierensesteenweg” then turn
a bit on the right on the “Poelweg”
and
take
the
N253
(Terhulpensesteenweg) on your
right, direction Overijse.
Then take the A4-E411 to Brussel.
Continue on the RO till the panel “Brussel-Tervuren”. Exit there and take the N3
directed to Leuven-Tervuren” and enter in Tervuren.
You will find the Museum on your right.
