Payment
To register for the live auction on the day, you
will be required to provide contact details i.e.,
name, address and email to receive a bidding
paddle. For those not able to attend in person,
please use the absentee bidding form with your
details filled out accurately.
The buyer should wire payment to the bank
account specified by Macey and Sons
Auctioneers and Valuers Limited. Payment policy
and details are described at the Transaction
Agreement of this catalogue. We accept cash
and credit card; payment by credit card requires
a surcharge of 3.9%. Traveler’s cheque will not be
accepted.
Currency
The currency of Macey and Sons Auctioneers and
Valuers Limited is calculated in Hong Kong
Dollars. Should the payment be paid by other
foreign currencies, we trade by the exchange rate
of the payment date for the first 14 business days.
Should the payment be paid after 14 business
days and the currency is less than that of the
bidding day, then we would adopt the currency
of the bidding day.
Written Bids
You may use the absentee bid form enclosed to
the catalogue to process your bid as well. To
allow time to process, written bids should be
delivered, by fax or email, at least 24 hours
before the auction begins. We will confirm all
bids received by phone. If you have not received
our confirmation within one working day, please
resubmit you bidding form or contact us on (+852

Collection & Local Deliveries
All the items may be collected upon receipt of
payments. All stock has been housed in the
temperature and humidity controlled cellars of:
China Merchants Godown, Wharf and
Transportation Co., Ltd. 18 Sai Ning Street,
Kennedy Town, Hong Kong. This is also the
address for collection of lots sold. The collection
time is on Saturday, 17th September 2016,
between 1:30pm – 4:30pm. Delivery can also be
arranged for a minimal charge.
Examination of Property
Prospective buyers are strongly advised to
examine any property personally in which they
are interested, before the auction takes place.
Condition reports are usually available on request.
Neither Macey and Sons nor the seller provides
any guarantee in relation to the nature of the

Tasting Notes:
The vinification of this blending emphasize the
famous grape variety of Fronton, the Négrette.
The nose is very expressive, ripe dark fruits; spices
overtone and liquorice finish in the mouth.
Tasting Notes:
The wine has notes of black berries, with a
predominance of blackcurrant. In the mouth it is
velvety smooth with a long lasting taste. Its tannins
are mature and not aggressive and are well
balanced with the fruit.

60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet sauvignon

Tasting Notes:
The tannins are noticeable but add to the taste of
this complex wine. It is powerful yet balanced
giving a sensation of fullness, which should lead
this wine to reach its maximum in ten years’ time.
Tasting Notes:
The bouquet comprises the aroma of ripe red fruit
and mild spices. In the mouth the wine is full and
round with persistent notes of fruit mixed with
gentle tannins.

of ripe fruits. The taste is smooth, supple, almost
overwhelming, but at the same time balanced.

Tasting Notes:
Beautiful red ruby in color with intense purple
reflections. Very fruity in the nose with aromas

tannins are smooth; this is a true convivial wine.

Tasting Notes:
A dark red colour with orange reflections, the nose
is complex and unrestrained. In the mouth it is
strong with the tannins very noticeable.

red fruit, flowers and caramel. A full and powerful
initial taste is followed by a fresh and fruity after
taste.

90% Malbec and 10% Merlot
Tasting Notes:
Deep dark ruby red color. Nice aromas of small
red and black fruits (strawberry, raspberry,
blackberry) and floral notes of jasmine and peony.
Fruity and very elegant, it is a full-bodied wine
with good, smooth tannins and a lot of freshness.

Tasting Notes:
A variety of flavours reminiscent of fruit jams.
The wine is full and lingering in the mouth and
it will unveil its full qualities over time.
Tasting Notes:
The wine is a beautiful intense red with pronounced
violet reflections. The nose is powerful, fruity with a
dominance of red fruit such as cherries and red
currant. Accompanied by the aromas of garrigues,
thyme and rosemary. There is a good balance in the
mouth between tannin and smoothness.

Tasting Notes:
Sustained and brilliant colour. A yellow straw
colour. A rich aroma, quince, acacia flowers,
lychee. Fat, flexibility and all round a good
balance. This wine will keep for several years,
but will appreciate now by its freshness.
Tasting Notes:
Sustained and brilliant color. An expressive nose
of cherry and strawberry fruit. On the palate
there is a nice development from the entry
through the middle palate to the finish,
characterized by a balance between the wine's
freshness and roundness. All these qualities make
it very pleasant.

A deep yellow body with a bright and
sparkling elegance. A fresh, gentle and
harmonious wine which has a long lasting

A pretty, golden body. The bouquet gives off

taste of caramels and spices lingers in the
mouth.

Tasting Notes:
Quite simply a pearl among the champagne
of this wine maker. Finely bubbling, this is
an elegant wine with a lively nose. The
chardonnay is well and truly present.
