PIERRE HEBBELINCK ATELIER
D'ARCHITECTURE S.A.
The Atelier develops reflexions on the insertion of architectural
programs in their urban and environmental contexts.
The Atelier conceives, since more than a decade, cultural,
sociocultural, dwelling and service projects so much for public
authorities than for private clients.
This conception method works as well for refurbishment,
extension, transformation of existing building and listed
buildings than for new constructions.
Our projects take place and have been realized, mostly in
complex contexts :
Buildings part of exceptional patrimony, many technical
partners and investing authorities, heterogeneous programs,
limited budgets,… The atelier has an excellent skill to deal with
public projects,…
The basis of our studies are the best definition of programms
according to the wishes of our clients, the conception of
projects in direct relation with their surrounding, the respect of
the budgets and the delay. All the means are put in practice,
inside of the atelier, for technical and conceptual developments
with ri gour in the budget and construction site control.
We are used to work , project after project, with well-known
and usual partners with whom we develop an high level of
expertise.
The projects’ conception is articulated on the dialogue with the
project ownership and on the constitution of a multidisciplinary
team related to the development of specific program.

PIERRE HEBBELINCK est né en 1956 et obtient son diplôme
d'architecture en 1981 à l'institut Lambert Lombard à Liège en
1981. L'année suivante, il ouvre un atelier professionnel. Il
conjugue son travail d'architecte et celui de conférencier
d'architecture. En 1996, il représente la Belgique à la 6°
exposition Internationale d'Architecture de Venise et participe
également à la 8° édition de cette biennale. Il se verra décerner
le prix « Baron Horta » pour la réalisation du MAC's (Grand
Hornu) en 2002

PIERRE DE WIT est né en 1969 et obtient son diplôme
d’architecture en 1993 à l’institut d’architecture Saint Luc à
Liège. Après ses débuts professionnel chez Claude Strebelle, il
rejoint Pierre Hebbelinck en 1997. En 2005, il devient
administrateur de l’atelier d’architecture. Depuis 2007, il est
chargé d’enseignement à l’institut d’architecture Saint Luc à
Liège.

Founded in 1994, Pierre hebbelinck's architecture office
considers all aspects of architectural research. Creation is
developped there alongside reflection on community facilities,
family homes and furniture. In 2004, the office launched the
publishing house « Fourre-Tout », whose ambition is to
promote the poetic approach of architecture
