Proclamation of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ according to John (21:1-14)
After this, the Lord Jesus revealed himself again to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. He revealed
himself in this way. Together were Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael from Cana in
Galilee, Zebedee's sons, and two others of his disciples. Simon Peter said to them, «I am going fishing.»
They said to him, «We also will come with you.» So they went out and got into the boat, but that night
they caught nothing. When it was already dawn, Jesus was standing on the shore; but the disciples did
not realize that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them, «Children, have you caught anything to eat?» They
answered him, «No.» So he said to them, «Cast the net over the right side of the boat and you will find
something.» So they cast it, and were not able to pull it in because of the number of fish. So the disciple
whom Jesus loved said to Peter, «It is the Lord.» When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tucked
in his garment, for he was lightly clad, and jumped into the sea. The other disciples came in the boat, for
they were not far from shore, only about a hundred yards, dragging the net with the fish. When they
climbed out on shore, they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it and bread. Jesus said to them, «Bring some
of the fish you just caught.» So Simon Peter went over and dragged the net ashore full of one hundred
fifty-three large fish. Even though there were so many, the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, «Come,
have breakfast.» And none of the disciples dared to ask him, «Who are you?» because they realized it was
the Lord. Jesus came over and took the bread and gave it to them, and in like manner the fish. This was
now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples after being raised from the dead.

Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth.
Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for
your glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world, have
mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father, receive our prayer.
For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the
Holy Spirit in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

A reading of Acts of the Apostles (8:26-39)
In those days, The angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, «Get up and head south on the road that goes down
from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route.» So he got up and set out. Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch,
a court official of the Candace, that is, the queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of her entire treasury, who
had come to Jerusalem to worship, and was returning home. Seated in his chariot, he was reading the
prophet Isaiah. The Spirit said to Philip, «Go and join up with that chariot.» Philip ran up and heard him
reading Isaiah the prophet and said, «Do you understand what you are reading?» He replied, «How can I,
unless someone instructs me?» So he invited Philip to get in and sit with him. This was the scripture
passage he was reading: «Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is
silent, so he opened not his mouth. In (his) humiliation justice was denied him. Who will tell of his
posterity? For his life is taken from the earth.» Then the eunuch said to Philip in reply, «I beg you, about
whom is the prophet saying this? About himself, or about someone else?» Then Philip opened his mouth
and, beginning with this scripture passage, he proclaimed Jesus to him. As they traveled along the road
they came to some water, and the eunuch said, «Look, there is water. What is to prevent my being
baptized?» Then he ordered the chariot to stop, and Philip and the eunuch both went down into the
water, and he baptized him. When they came out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip
away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but continued on his way rejoicing.

EPISTLE
The first letter of saint Paul to Timothy (2:1-5)
Beloved, First of all, then, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for
everyone, for kings and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and
dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to
knowledge of the truth. For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human
race, Christ Jesus, himself human.

A reading of the holy gospel according to Mark (16:14b-20)
In that time, As the eleven were at table, the Lord Jesus appeared to them and rebuked them for their
unbelief and hardness of heart because they had not believed those who saw him after he had been
raised. He said to them, «Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Whoever
believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will
accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages.
They will pick up serpents (with their hands), and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them.
They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.» So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them,
was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God. But they went forth and preached
everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs.

THE PROFESSION OF FAITH
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God,
Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him
all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the
Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius
Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance the Scriptures; he
ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the
living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the
Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified, he has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of
sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Annonce de la résurrection de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ selon saint Jean (21, 1-14)
Après cela, le Seigneur Jésus se manifesta encore aux disciples sur le bord du lac de Tibériade, et voici
comment. Il y avait là Simon-Pierre, avec Thomas (dont le nom signifie : Jumeau), Nathanaël, de Cana
en Galilée, les fils de Zébédée, et deux autres disciples. Simon-Pierre leur dit : « Je m'en vais à la pêche. »
Ils lui répondent : « Nous allons avec toi. » Ils partirent et montèrent dans la barque ; or, ils passèrent la
nuit sans rien prendre. Au lever du jour, Jésus était là, sur le rivage, mais les disciples ne savaient pas que
c'était lui. Jésus les appelle : « Les enfants, auriez-vous un peu de poisson ? » Ils lui répondent : « Non. » Il
leur dit : « Jetez le filet à droite de la barque, et vous trouverez. » Ils jetèrent donc le filet, et cette fois ils
n'arrivaient pas à le ramener, tellement il y avait de poisson. Alors, le disciple que Jésus aimait dit à
Pierre : « C'est le Seigneur ! » Quand Simon-Pierre l'entendit déclarer que c'était le Seigneur, il passa un
vêtement, car il n'avait rien sur lui, et il se jeta à l'eau. Les autres disciples arrivent en barque, tirant le
filet plein de poissons ; la terre n'était qu'à une centaine de mètres. En débarquant sur le rivage, ils voient
un feu de braise avec du poisson posé dessus, et du pain. Jésus leur dit : « Apportez donc de ce poisson
que vous venez de prendre. » Simon-Pierre monta dans la barque et amena jusqu'à terre le filet plein de
gros poissons : il y en avait cent cinquante-trois. Et, malgré cette quantité, le filet ne s'était pas déchiré.
Jésus dit alors : « Venez déjeuner. » Aucun des disciples n'osait lui demander : « Qui es-tu ? » Ils savaient
que c'était le Seigneur. Jésus s'approche, prend le pain et le leur donne, ainsi que le poisson. C'était la
troisième fois que Jésus ressuscité d'entre les morts se manifestait à ses disciples.
Notre Seigneur Jésus Christ est ressuscité !
GLORIA
Gloire à Dieu, au plus haut des cieux, et paix sur la terre aux hommes qu'il aime. Nous te louons, nous te
bénissons, nous t'adorons, nous te glorifions, nous te rendons grâce, pour ton immense gloire,
Seigneur Dieu, Roi du ciel, Dieu le Père tout-puissant. Seigneur, Fils unique, Jésus Christ, Seigneur Dieu,
Agneau de Dieu, le Fils du Père ;toi qui enlèves le péché du monde, prends pitié de nous ;toi qui enlèves le
péché du monde, reçois notre prière ;toi qui es assis à la droite du Père, prends pitié de nous.
Car toi seul es saint, toi seul es Seigneur, toi seul es le Très-Haut : Jésus Christ, avec le Saint-Esprit dans la

LECTURE
Lecture des Actes des Apôtres (8, 26-39)
En ces jours-là, L'ange du Seigneur adressa la parole à Philippe : « Mets-toi en marche vers le midi,
prends la route qui descend de Jérusalem à Gaza ; elle est déserte. » Et Philippe se mit en marche. Or, un
Éthiopien, un eunuque, haut fonctionnaire de Candace, reine d'Éthiopie, administrateur de tous ses
trésors, était venu à Jérusalem pour adorer Dieu. Il en revenait, assis dans son char, et lisait le prophète
Isaïe. L'Esprit du Seigneur dit à Philippe : « Avance, et rejoins ce char. » Philippe s'approcha en courant,
et il entendit que l'homme lisait le prophète lsaïe ; alors il lui demanda : « Comprends-tu vraiment ce que
tu lis ? » L'autre lui répondit : « Comment pourrais-je comprendre s'il n'y a personne pour me guider ? »
Il invita donc Philippe à monter et à s'asseoir à côté de lui. Le passage de l'Écriture qu'il lisait était celuici : « Comme une brebis, on l'a conduit à l'abattoir, comme un agneau muet devant le tondeur, il n'ouvre
pas la bouche. A cause de son humiliation, sa condamnation a été levée. Sa destinée, qui la racontera ?
Car sa vie a été retranchée de la terre. » L'eunuque dit à Philippe : « Dis-moi, je te prie : de qui parle-t-il ?
De lui-même, ou bien d'un autre ? » Alors Philippe prit la parole, et, à partir de ce passage de l'Écriture, il
lui annonça la Bonne Nouvelle de Jésus. Comme ils poursuivaient leur route, ils arrivèrent à un point
d'eau, et l'eunuque dit : « Voici de l'eau : qu'est-ce qui empêche que je reçoive le baptême ? » Il fit arrêter
le char, ils descendirent dans l'eau tous les deux, et Philippe baptisa l'eunuque. Quand ils furent
remontés de l'eau, l'Esprit du Seigneur emporta Philippe ; l'eunuque ne le voyait plus, mais il poursuivait
sa route, tout joyeux.

Première lettre de saint Paul apôtre à Timothée (2, 1-5)
Bien-aimé, J'insiste avant tout pour qu'on fasse des prières de demande, d'intercession et d'action de
grâce pour tous les hommes, pour les chefs d'État et tous ceux qui ont des responsabilités, afin que nous
puissions mener notre vie dans le calme et la sécurité, en hommes religieux et sérieux. Voilà une vraie
prière, que Dieu, notre Sauveur, peut accepter, car il veut que tous les hommes soient sauvés et arrivent à
connaître pleinement la vérité. En effet, il n'y a qu'un seul Dieu, il n'y a qu'un seul médiateur entre Dieu
et les hommes : un homme, le Christ Jésus.

Lecture de l'évangile de Jésus Christ selon saint Marc (16, 14b-20)
En ce temps-là, Le Seigneur Jésus se manifesta aux Onze eux-mêmes pendant qu'ils étaient à table : il
leur reprocha leur incrédulité et leur endurcissement parce qu'ils n'avaient pas cru ceux qui l'avaient vu
ressuscité. Puis il leur dit : « Allez dans le monde entier. Proclamez la Bonne Nouvelle à toute la création.
Celui qui croira et sera baptisé sera sauvé ; celui qui refusera de croire sera condamné. Voici les signes
qui accompagneront ceux qui deviendront croyants : en mon nom, ils chasseront les esprits mauvais ; ils
parleront un langage nouveau ; ils prendront des serpents dans leurs mains, et, s'ils boivent un poison
mortel, il ne leur fera pas de mal ; ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades s'en trouveront
bien. » Le Seigneur Jésus, après leur avoir parlé, fut enlevé au ciel et s'assit à la droite de Dieu. Quant à
eux, ils s'en allèrent proclamer partout la Bonne Nouvelle. Le Seigneur travaillait avec eux et confirmait
la Parole par les signes qui l'accompagnaient.

PROFESSION DE FOI
Je crois en un seul Dieu, Le Père tout-puissant,créateur du ciel et de la terre, de l'univers visible et invisible.
Je crois en un seul Seigneur, Jésus Christ, le Fils unique de Dieu, né du Père avant tous les siècles : Il est Dieu,
né de Dieu, lumière, née de la lumière, vrai Dieu, né du vrai Dieu. Engendré, non pas créé, de même nature
que le Père; et par lui tout a été fait. Pour nous les hommes, et pour notre salut, il descendit du ciel. Par
l'Esprit Saint, il a pris chair de la Vierge Marie, et s'est fait homme. Crucifié pour nous sous Ponce Pilate, il
souffrit sa Passion et fut mis au tombeau. Il ressuscita le troisième jour, conformément aux Écritures, et il
monta au ciel ; il est assis à la droite du Père. Il reviendra dans la gloire, pour juger les vivants et les morts ;
et son règne n'aura pas de fin.
Je crois en l'Esprit Saint, qui est Seigneur et qui donne la vie ; il procède du Père et du Fils ; avec le Père et le
Fils, il reçoit même adoration et même gloire ; il a parlé par les prophètes.
Je crois en l'Eglise, une, sainte, catholique et apostolique. Je reconnais un seul baptême pour le pardon des
péchés. J'attends la résurrection des morts, et la vie du monde à venir. Amen.

Verkündigung der Auferstehung unseres Herrn Jesus Christus nach Johannes (21, 1-14)
Danach offenbarte sich Jesus, der Herr, den Jüngern noch einmal. Es war am See von Tiberias und er
offenbarte sich in folgender Weise. Simon Petrus, Thomas, genannt Didymus (Zwilling), Natanaël aus
Kana in Galiläa, die Söhne des Zebedäus und zwei andere von seinen Jüngern waren zusammen. Simon
Petrus sagte zu ihnen: Ich gehe fischen. Sie sagten zu ihm: Wir kommen auch mit. Sie gingen hinaus und
stiegen in das Boot. Aber in dieser Nacht fingen sie nichts. Als es schon Morgen wurde, stand Jesus am
Ufer. Doch die Jünger wussten nicht, dass es Jesus war. Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Meine Kinder, habt ihr
nicht etwas zu essen? Sie antworteten ihm: Nein. Er aber sagte zu ihnen: Werft das Netz auf der rechten
Seite des Bootes aus und ihr werdet etwas fangen. Sie warfen das Netz aus und konnten es nicht wieder
einholen, so voller Fische war es. Da sagte der Jünger, den Jesus liebte, zu Petrus: Es ist der Herr! Als
Simon Petrus hörte, dass es der Herr sei, gürtete er sich das Obergewand um, weil er nackt war, und
sprang in den See. Dann kamen die anderen Jünger mit dem Boot – sie waren nämlich nicht weit vom
Land entfernt, nur etwa zweihundert Ellen – und zogen das Netz mit den Fischen hinter sich her. Als sie
an Land gingen, sahen sie am Boden ein Kohlenfeuer und darauf Fisch und Brot. Jesus sagte zu ihnen:
Bringt von den Fischen, die ihr gerade gefangen habt. Da ging Simon Petrus und zog das Netz an Land.
Es war mit hundertdreiundfünfzig großen Fischen gefüllt, und obwohl es so viele waren, zerriss das Netz
nicht. Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Kommt her und esst! Keiner von den Jüngern wagte ihn zu fragen: Wer bist
du? Denn sie wussten, dass es der Herr war. Jesus trat heran, nahm das Brot und gab es ihnen, ebenso
den Fisch. Dies war schon das dritte Mal, dass Jesus sich den Jüngern offenbarte, seit er von den Toten
auferstanden war.
Unser Herr Jesus Christus ist auferstanden!
GLORIA
Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe und Friede auf Erden den Menschen seiner Gnade. Wir loben dich, wir preisen
dich, wir beten dich an, wir rühmen dich und danken dir, denn groß ist deine Herrlichkeit:
Herr und Gott, König des Himmels, Gott und Vater, Herrscher über das All, Herr, eingeborener Sohn, Jesus
Christus. Herr und Gott, Lamm Gottes, Sohn des Vaters, du nimmst hinweg die Sünde der Welt: erbarme
dich unser; du nimmst hinweg die Sünde der Welt nimm an unser Gebet; du sitzest zur Rechten des Vaters:
erbarme dich unser.
Denn du allein bist der Heilige, du allein der Herr, du allein der Höchste, Jesus Christus, mit dem Heiligen

LESUNG
Lesung der Apostelgeschichte (8, 26-39)
In jenen Tagen, Ein Engel des Herrn sagte zu Philippus: Steh auf und zieh nach Süden auf der Straße, die
von Jerusalem nach Gaza hinabführt. Sie führt durch eine einsame Gegend. Und er brach auf. Nun war
da ein Äthiopier, ein Kämmerer, Hofbeamter der Kandake, der Königin der Äthiopier, der ihren ganzen
Schatz verwaltete. Dieser war nach Jerusalem gekommen, um Gott anzubeten, und fuhr jetzt heimwärts.
Er saß auf seinem Wagen und las den Propheten Jesaja. Und der Geist sagte zu Philippus: Geh und folge
diesem Wagen. Philippus lief hin und hörte ihn den Propheten Jesaja lesen. Da sagte er: Verstehst du
auch, was du liest? Jener antwortete: Wie könnte ich es, wenn mich niemand anleitet? Und er bat den
Philippus, einzusteigen und neben ihm Platz zu nehmen. Der Abschnitt der Schrift, den er las, lautete:
Wie ein Schaf wurde er zum Schlachten geführt; und wie ein Lamm, das verstummt, wenn man es schert,
so tat er seinen Mund nicht auf. In der Erniedrigung wurde seine Verurteilung aufgehoben. Seine
Nachkommen, wer kann sie zählen? Denn sein Leben wurde von der Erde fortgenommen. Der
Kämmerer wandte sich an Philippus und sagte: Ich bitte dich, von wem sagt der Prophet das? Von sich
selbst oder von einem anderen? Da begann Philippus zu reden und ausgehend von diesem Schriftwort
verkündete er ihm das Evangelium von Jesus. Als sie nun weiterzogen, kamen sie zu einer Wasserstelle.
Da sagte der Kämmerer: Hier ist Wasser. Was steht meiner Taufe noch im Weg? Er ließ den Wagen
halten und beide, Philippus und der Kämmerer, stiegen in das Wasser hinab und er taufte ihn. Als sie
aber aus dem Wasser stiegen, entführte der Geist des Herrn den Philippus. Der Kämmerer sah ihn nicht
mehr und er zog voll Freude weiter.

Erster Brief des Apostels Paulus an Timotheus (2, 1-5)
Lieber Bruder, Vor allem fordere ich zu Bitten und Gebeten, zu Fürbitte und Danksagung auf, und zwar
für alle Menschen, für die Herrscher und für alle, die Macht ausüben, damit wir in aller Frömmigkeit und
Rechtschaffenheit ungestört und ruhig leben können. Das ist recht und gefällt Gott, unserem Retter; er
will, dass alle Menschen gerettet werden und zur Erkenntnis der Wahrheit gelangen. Denn: Einer ist
Gott, Einer auch Mittler zwischen Gott und den Menschen: der Mensch Christus Jesus.

Lesung des heiligen Evangeliums nach Markus (16, 14b-20)
In jener Zeit, erschien Jesus, der Herr, auch den Elf, als sie bei Tisch waren; er tadelte ihren Unglauben
und ihre Verstocktheit, weil sie denen nicht glaubten, die ihn nach seiner Auferstehung gesehen hatten.
Dann sagte er zu ihnen: Geht hinaus in die ganze Welt, und verkündet das Evangelium allen Geschöpfen!
Wer glaubt und sich taufen lässt, wird gerettet; wer aber nicht glaubt, wird verdammt werden. Und
durch die, die zum Glauben gekommen sind, werden folgende Zeichen geschehen: In meinem Namen
werden sie Dämonen austreiben; sie werden in neuen Sprachen reden; Wenn sie Schlangen anfassen
oder tödliches Gift trinken, wird es ihnen nicht schaden; und die Kranken, denen sie die Hände auflegen,
werden gesund werden. Nachdem Jesus, der Herr, dies zu ihnen gesagt hatte, wurde er in den Himmel

stand ihnen bei und bekräftigte die Verkündigung durch die Zeichen, die er geschehen ließ.

GLAUBENSBEKENNTNIS
Wir glauben an den einen Gott, den Vater, den Allmächtigen, der alles geschaffen hat, Himmel und Erde,
die sichtbare und die unsichtbare Welt.
Und an den einen Herrn Jesus Christus, Gottes eingeborenen Sohn, aus dem Vater geboren vor aller Zeit:
Gott von Gott, Licht vom Licht, wahrer Gott vom wahren Gott, gezeugt, nicht geschaffen, eines Wesens mit
dem Vater; durch ihn ist alles geschaffen. Für uns Menschen und zu unserem Heil, ist er vom Himmel
gekommen, hat Fleisch angenommen durch den Heiligen Geist von der Jungfrau Maria und ist Mensch
geworden. Er wurde für uns gekreuzigt unter Pontius Pilatus, hat gelitten und ist begraben worden, ist am
dritten Tage auferstanden nach der Schrift und aufgefahren in den Himmel. Er sitzt zur Rechten des Vaters
und wird wiederkommen in Herrlichkeit, zu richten die Lebenden und die Toten; seiner Herrschaft wird
kein Ende sein.
Wir glauben an den Heiligen Geist, der Herr ist und lebendig macht, der aus dem Vater und dem Sohn
hervorgeht, der mit dem Vater und dem Sohn angebetet und verherrlicht wird, der gesprochen hat durch
die Propheten; und die eine, heilige, katholische und apostolische Kirche. Wir bekennen die eine Taufe zur
Vergebung der Sünden. Wir erwarten die Auferstehung der Toten, und das Leben der kommenden Welt.

EVANGELIO DE LA RESURRECCIÓN
Anuncio de la resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesucristo según san Juan (21, 1-14)
Después de esto, el Señor Jesús se apareció otra vez a los discípulos junto al lago de Tiberiades. Y se
apareció de esta manera: Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, Tomás apodado el Mellizo, Natanael el de Caná de
Galilea, los Zebedeos y otros dos discípulos suyos. Simón Pedro les dice: «Me voy a pescar.» Ellos
contestan: «Vamos también nosotros contigo.» Salieron y se embarcaron; y aquella noche no cogieron
nada. Estaba ya amaneciendo, cuando Jesús se presentó en la orilla; pero los discípulos no sabían que era
Jesús. Jesús les dice: «Muchachos, ¿tenéis pescado?» Ellos contestaron: «No.» Él les dice: «Echad la red a
la derecha de la barca y encontraréis.» La echaron, y no teman fuerzas para sacarla, por la multitud de
peces. Y aquel discípulo que Jesús tanto quería le dice a Pedro: «Es el Señor.» Al oír que era el Señor,
Simón Pedro, que estaba desnudo, se ató la túnica y se echó al agua. Los demás discípulos se acercaron
en la barca, porque no distaban de tierra más que unos cien metros, remolcando la red con los peces. Al
saltar a tierra, ven unas brasas con un pescado puesto encima y pan. Jesús les dice: «Traed de los peces
que acabáis de coger.» Simón Pedro subió a la barca y arrastró hasta la orilla la red repleta de peces
grandes: ciento cincuenta y tres. Y aunque eran tantos, no se rompió la red. Jesús les dice: «Vamos,
almorzad.» Ninguno de los discípulos se atrevía a preguntarle quién era, porque sabían bien que era el
Señor. Jesús se acerca, toma el pan y se lo da, y lo mismo el pescado. Ésta fue la tercera vez que Jesús se
apareció a los discípulos, después de resucitar de entre los muertos.
¡Cristo el Señor ha resucitado!
GLORIA
Gloria a Dios en el cielo, y en la tierra paz a los hombres que ama el Señor.
Por tu inmensa gloria te alabamos, te bendecimos, te adoramos, te glorificamos, te damos gracias, Señor
Dios, Rey celestial, Dios Padre todopoderoso.
Señor, Hijo único, Jesucristo, Señor Dios, Cordero de Dios, Hijo del Padre; tú que quitas el pecado del
mundo, ten piedad de nosotros; tú que quitas el pecado del mundo, atiende nuestra súplica; tú que estás
sentado a la derecha del Padre, ten piedad de nosotros.
Porque sólo tú eres Santo, sólo tú Señor, sólo tú Altísimo, Jesucristo, con el espíritu Santo en la gloria de
Dios Padre. Amén.
LECTURA
Lectura de los Hechos de los Apóstoles (8, 26-39)
En aquellos días, El ángel del Señor le dijo a Felipe: «Ponte en camino hacia el sur, por la carretera de
Jerusalén a Gaza, que cruza el desierto.» Se puso en camino y de pronto vio venir a un etíope; era un
eunuco, ministro de Candaces, reina de Etiopía, e intendente del tesoro, que había ido en peregrinación a
Jerusalén. Iba de vuelta, sentado en su carroza, leyendo al profeta Isaías. El Espíritu dijo a Felipe:
«Acércate y pégate a la carroza.» Felipe se acercó corriendo, le oyó leer al profeta Isaías, y le preguntó:
«¿Entiendes lo que estás leyendo?» Contestó: «Y ¿cómo voy a entenderlo si nadie me lo explica?» Invitó a
Felipe a subir y a sentarse con él. El pasaje de la Escritura que estaba leyendo era éste: «Como un cordero
llevado al matadero, como oveja ante el esquilador, enmudecía y no abría la boca. Sin defensa, sin
justicia se lo llevaron, ¿quién meditó en su destino? Lo arrancaron de la tierra de los vivos.» El eunuco le
preguntó a Felipe: «Por favor, ¿de quién dice esto el profeta? ¿De él mismo o de otro?» Felipe se puso a
hablarle, y tomando pie de este pasaje, le anunció la buena noticia de Jesús. En el viaje llegaron a un sitio
donde había agua, y dijo el eunuco: «Mira, agua. ¿Qué dificultad hay en que me bautice?» Mandó parar la
carroza, bajaron los dos al agua, y Felipe lo bautizó. Cuando salieron del agua, el Espíritu del Señor
arrebató a Felipe. El eunuco no volvió a verlo, y siguió su viaje lleno de alegría.

EPÍSTOLA
Primera carta del apóstol san Pablo a Timoteo (2, 1-5)
Querido hermano: Te ruego, lo primero de todo, que hagáis oraciones, plegarias, súplicas, acciones de
gracias por todos los hombres, por los reyes y por todos los que ocupan cargos, para que podamos llevar
una vida tranquila y apacible, con toda piedad y decoro. Eso es bueno y grato ante los ojos de nuestro
Salvador, Dios, que quiere que todos los hombres se salven y lleguen al conocimiento de la verdad. Pues
Dios es uno, y uno solo es el mediador entre Dios y los hombres, el hombre Cristo Jesús.

ACLAMACIÓN ANTES DEL EVANGELIO

Aleluya.
Id y haced discípulos de todos los pueblos, dice el Señor.
Y sabed que yo estoy con vosotros todos los días,

EVANGELIO
Lectura del santo evangelio según san Marcos (16, 14b-20)
En aquel tiempo, Se apareció el Señor Jesús a los Once, cuando estaban a la mesa, y les echó en cara su
incredulidad y dureza de corazón, porque no habían creído a los que lo habían visto resucitado. Y les
dijo: «Id al mundo entero y proclamad el Evangelio a toda la creación. El que crea y se bautice se salvará;
el que se resista a creer será condenado. A los que crean, les acompañarán estos signos: echarán
demonios en mi nombre, hablarán lenguas nuevas, cogerán serpientes en sus manos y, si beben un
veneno mortal, no les hará daño. Impondrán las manos a los enfermos, y quedarán sanos.» Después de
hablarles, el Señor Jesús subió al cielo y se sentó a la derecha de Dios. Ellos se fueron a pregonar el
Evangelio por todas partes, y el Señor cooperaba confirmando la palabra con las señales que los
acompañaban.

PROFESIÓN DE FE
Creo en un solo Dios, Padre todopoderoso, Creador del cielo y de la tierra, de todo lo visible y lo invisible.
Creo en un solo Señor, Jesucristo, Hijo único de Dios, nacido del Padre antes de todos los siglos: Dios de
Dios, Luz de Luz, Dios verdadero de Dios verdadero, engendrado, no creado, de la misma naturaleza del
Padre, por quien todo fue hecho; que por nosotros, los hombres, y por nuestra salvación bajó del cielo; y por
obra del Espíritu Santo se encarnó de María, la Virgen, y se hizo hombre; y por nuestra causa fue
crucificado en tiempos de Poncio Pilato; padeció y fue sepultado, y resucitó al tercer día, según las
Escrituras, y subió al cielo, y está sentado a la derecha del Padre; y de nuevo vendrá con gloria para juzgar
a vivos y muertos, y su reino no tendrá fin.
Creo en el Espíritu Santo, Señor y dador de vida, que procede del Padre y del Hijo, que con el Padre y el Hijo
recibe una misma adoración y gloria, y que habló por los profetas.
Creo en la Iglesia, que es una, santa, católica y apostólica. Confieso que hay un solo bautismo para el
perdón de los pecados. Espero la resurrección de los muertos y la vida del mundo futuro. Amén.
