The Junior Eurovision Song Contest Steering Group is the executive Committee for all
members, and whose purpose it is to supervise and guide the Junior Eurovision Song
Contest (JESC).
The tasks, defined by the EBU, are to :



secure the format of the JESC;
modernize the brand and raising the awareness of the JESC;
overlook the yearly preparation by the Host Broadcaster.
The JESC Steering group meets four or five times each year on behalf of all
participating broadcasters, and is required to take decisions in the general interest of
the JESC.
The JESC Steering Group is composed of the following members :

Two elected members of the heads of delegation;
The executive producer of the previous host country, the executive producer
of the current year's host broadcaster and the executive producer of the next
host broadcaster;
The EBU Junior Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor.

Le Groupe directeur du Concours Eurovision de la Chanson Junior est le Comité exécutif
de tous les membres. Son but est de contrôler le Concours Eurovision de la Chanson
Junior (CECJ) et de donner des directives.
Ses tâches sont définies par l'UER. Elles consistent à :



assurer le format du CECJ ;
moderniser la marque et à mieux faire connaître le CECJ ;
superviser les préparatifs annuels du radiodiffuseur hôte.

Participants au CECJ
Le Groupe directeur du CECJ se réunit quatre à cinq fois par an pour le compte de
tous les radiodiffuseurs participants. Il doit prendre des décisions dans l'intérêt
général du CECJ.
