Discover the secrets of Fundy National Park with an interpreter. Every day, we offer a variety of activities
to help you enjoy and understand the special character of the park.

Join us at the Headquarters outdoor theatre
for an hour of entertainment and education.
Each night we explore the cultural and natural
history protected in Fundy for you and future
generations. Presentations involve images,
music, props, drama and comedy. In case of
rain, these programs will be cancelled.

Chasse pour l’espace Les derniers espaces sauvages
autour du parc national Fundy sont en voie de disparition.
C’est une situation désespérée mais qu’est-ce qu’un

Woodchips & Beans Before the national park, the
first settlers arrived here in search of giant timbers. Join
our guest, local historian Rob Elliott, to learn about the
hard work and struggles of daily life in nineteenth century
lumbercamps.
Beach Walks
(duration: 11/2 to 2 hours)
Rubber boots or old sneakers are recommended.
Catch the rising tide. Meet at the Alma
Beach parking lot for stories of tides and the things that
live in that world between high and low tide.
Cannontown Beach
Meet at the swimming pool
parking lot to explore the intertidal life uncovered on the
extra low spring tide. Sandals are not recommended.
Herring Cove Beach
Walk on the bottom of the bay.
Visit plants that wear life jackets and animals that live
standing on their heads! Meet at the Herring Cove exhibit.
Point Wolfe Beach
Meet at the Coppermine
trail parking lot across the road from the Point Wolfe
campground for an exploration of Point Wolfe Cove–a
place full of stories.

Park are disappearing. It’s a desperate situation but what
can a hyperactive squirrel, a disappearing salmon, a crusty
crab and a sassy spruce do about it? To find out, join Dan
and Anna for this early evening entertainment.
Trees Please The world’s oldest known spruce tree has

breeding pair of loons. Spend a few minutes or stay an
hour at Wolfe Lake with Angela to find out about our
loons and maybe get a chance to watch them.

Campfires
Fundy’s Lost Village Discover what life was like for
the Fundy folk of long ago. With Julia and Angela, become
a part of the daily life, song, work, and play of “the people
of the salt and the fir”. Bring a mug and a flashlight to the
campfire circle in Chignecto South campground.
Feu de Camp
Fundy enchanté La forêt est un monde magique où
certaines créatures peuvent nous surprendre par leur
caractère. Venez rejoindre Elena, Anaïs, et Isabel au feu de

Events of one hour duration for 6 to 12 year olds

Going Squirrelly With kitten-soft fur, a taste for
fungus and a remarkable, built-in paraglider, Northern
flying squirrels are gliding through Fundy. Join Dan at the
Visitor Centre to get to know these nocturnal cousins of
the familiar Red squirrel.
Tidal Art
Play dragonfly tag and use nets to
explore underwater life. Discover what survival means to
creatures in a pond. Meet Isabel at the Visitor Centre. ☺
Nature Journaling Create your own nature journal
from recycled paper while exploring some of nature’s
beauty. Join Angela at the outdoor theatre to take a closer
look at the things living around us. ☺

a New Brunswicker, is one of 21 Canadians selected
and trained by Al Gore to be one of his “climate change
messengers” spreading this visually spectacular and
thought-provoking global warning. Find out what more
you can do to make a difference.

cougars really exist in New Brunswick? Have they always

tech science, including DNA analysis, is helping to shed
light on the “ghost of the New Brunswick forest”.
