Presentation :
Because Paris Combo is « very French » in the USA, a producer has hired
them to perform on a special evening dedicated to France and French Music.
This is how the Paris Combo got back on stage and started to create a new
repertoire to play in front of 18000 people who came to acclaim them at the
Hollywood Bowl of Los Angeles.
« 5 » is a simple title. After all, it is the band’s fifth album! And the band had’nt
played for five years, not releasing any album and not performing any gig. And
they are still 5, happily reunited with the uncommon swing of Paris Combo, its
memories of Django Reinhardt or the tropical 50’s, with its timeless elegance
and its ironic romanticism…
