2014 RICHIBUCTO CHRISTMAS PARADE
The Richibucto Recreation Council is preparing to host its 29th annual Christmas parade.
The parade will be held on Sunday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. We wish to extend a
special invitation to all our neighboring communities, clubs, groups, and organizations to
participate in this year’s parade.
The participants are invited to gather at the Richibucto Co-op parking lot between
5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. (rain or moonlight) and will
proceed on Rankine Street, then will turn onto Main Street. It will then proceed on Main
Street to end at the Anchor Multifunctional Centre.
Following the parade, all participants are welcome to the Anchor Multifunctional Centre,
at 149 Acadie Street to warm-up (hot-chocolate and donuts)
Prizes to be won for the participants and it will be presented in the following categories:
1st place – $300.00
2nd place - $200.00
3rd place - $100.00
Note: That the Santa Claus float is already taken care of.

DÉFILÉ
DE NOËL DE RICHIBUCTO 2014
Le conseil récréatif se prépare à tenir son 29e défilé annuel de Noël. La parade aura lieu
le dimanche 7 décembre à 18h30. Nous désirons aussi prendre l’occasion pour lancer
une invitation spéciale à nos communautés avoisinantes, aux écoles, aux groupes ou
organismes afin de se joindre à nous et participer dans notre défilé de Noël.
Ceux et celles qui désirent participer sont invités à se réunir au terrain de stationnement
de la Co-op de Richibucto entre 17h30 et 18h00. Le défilé doit laisser le stationnement à
18h30 (beau temps, mauvais temps) pour se diriger sur la rue Rankine jusqu’à la rue
Main par la suite descendre sur la rue Main pour terminer à l`Ancre centre
multifonctionnelle.
Après le défilé, tous les participants sont les bienvenus à l’Ancre centre
multifonctionnelle au 149 rue Acadie pour du chocolat chaud et des beignes.
Des prix seront à gagner selon les catégories suivantes :
1er prix – 300.00$
2e prix – 200.00$
3e prix – 100.00$
À noter : Le char allégorique officiel du Père Noël est déjà pris charge.
