General D C100 - Fuels, Oils and Lubricants This chapter provides a table of Consumable and Servicing Materials, and a table of Ground Support Equipment and Special Tools used on the MD Explorer. D C200 - Corrosion Preventative Coatings and Compounds The information in each table is divided into groups. Within each group, materials or tools are identified by a number. Numbers have a prefix of C identifying a consumable or servicing material, or a T identifying a tool. C and T numbers are used throughout the maintenance manual, allowing quick reference for Consumable Materials and Ground Support Equipment and Special Tools. D C400 - Solvents, Cleaners and Adhesives A. Consumable Materials Table 201 lists Consumable and Servicing Materials, such as fuels and oils used to support repair or servicing procedures. For additional servicing information, such as capacities refer to the applicable rotorcraft maintenance manual. Materials not identified WARNING with the Specification No., when listed, may not meet the require ments of their application. Materials are approved for use on the MD Explorer. Do not replace materials, unless equal to quality and grade. Refer to notes at the end of Table 201. Materials are listed with hazardous warning codes. The WARNING codes are given a descriptive title (ref. Note 7, Table 201). A detailed explanation of WARNING codes, an example is shown below, is in Section 01-00-00. Consumable Container Warnings D C300 - Paints, Primers and Coating Compounds D C500 - Composite Materials D C600 - Rubber Material D C700 - Lockwire, Fasteners and Tape D C800 - Miscellaneous Materials B. Manufacturer / Supplier Number Table 202 lists Manufacturer / Supplier Number with address and phone number. Table 202 is used with Table 201, Consumable Materials. C. Ground Support Equipment and Special Tools Table 203 identifies ground support equipment and special tools, necessary for maintenance operations. Tools are listed in groups, with each tool assigned a T number, with an associated part number, descriptive title and function. D T100 - Ground Handling Requirement D T200 - Jacking and Leveling Requirement D T300 - Main Transmission Requirement D T400 - Engine Requirement D T500 - Flight Control Requirement D T600 - Anti-Torque Requirement D T700 - ECS Requirement D T800 - Fuel Requirement D T900 - Main Rotor Requirement The following lists each group of consumable materials by descriptive title and the C number for each material in the group.
