2006, pour le 7e Festival International du Cerf

Chers amis cerf-volistes,
Le 6e Festival International du Cerf-Volant, qui avait pour theme "Les Pheniciens", a eu
lieu en juillet dernier. Les invites internationaux ont passe une semaine inoubliable au
Liban, entre les visites de nombreux sites touristiques, les ateliers pour enfants, les repas
gastronomiques, les inaugurations des 2 expos et surtout les 4 apres midi de vol dans des
conditions de vent magnifiques (1,5 a 4 Beaufort, selon les jours et les sites). Sans oublier
le Street Kiting au centre ville de Beyrouth et le concours de photos "Kite Bikini"
remporte par notre ami Ralf Maserski d'Allemagne...

Dear kiteflyer friends,
The 6th International Kite Festival, with "The Phoenicians" as a theme, took place last
July. The international guests spent an unforgettable week in Lebanon, including visits to
many touristic sites, workshops for children, gastronomic meals, opening of the 2
exhibitions, and above all, 4 flying afternoons with excellent wind conditions (1.5 to 4
Beaufort, depending on the day and site). Not forgetting the Street Kiting in Downtown
Beirut, and the "Kite Bikini" photo contest, won by our friend Ralf Maserski from
Germany...
