Project and Construction Manager
Working Location
London – UK
The candidate will be based in Europtima’s central London office, but may be required to be
resident on construction sites from time to time.
Role
Reporting to a director of Europtima Group, the Project and Construction Manager is to lead
medium sized building construction projects primarily for private sector clients in the Residential,
Offices, and Healthcare sectors. The projects will be both new build and remodeling of existing
buildings.
Requirements
Experience
The ideal candidate will have not less than 10 years’ experience in the building construction
industry with a preference for:
 Not less than 5 years’ experience with a leading building contractor or project manager
 Experience of projects up to around £10 million construction cost
 Experience of design build contracts in a site management role
 Experience of work in existing buildings in congested city center locations
Skills
 A degree in Engineering or Construction is preferred
 Good knowledge of common forms of construction contracts and subcontracts
 Familiar with UK Health and Safety legislation, including the Construction Design and
Management Regulations
 Good understanding of rates and prices for building construction and fitting out work
Personal Attributes
Candidates from throughout the EU will be considered, but they must have a high level of
English language skills. The preferred candidate will exhibit:
 Team leadership skills and the ability to form strong relationships with both customers and
suppliers, including contractors and consultants.
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to report concisely and accurately orally and in
writing.
 The ability to plan and prioritise both his or her own workload and projects delivered to tight
deadlines.
 Drive and the ambition to develop their career with an international group of companies

Sous la responsabilité d’un Directeur de Projets, vous êtes en charge de diriger des projets
d'Assistance à Maîtrise d'Ouvrage pour la réalisation en construction neuve, extension ou
réhabilitation, d'opérations de bureaux, logements, centres commerciaux, établissements
publics & privés.
Vos missions sont techniques mais également commerciales et managériales.
Commerciales: Prospection, Réponses AO, Rédaction, chiffrage, Suivi client, Négociation
Techniques: Définition des besoins, audits, études de faisabilité, définition des conditions
administratives et techniques, approche financière et chiffrage d’opération, (budgétisation),
programmation/planification, impératifs de développement durable et technologies énergies
renouvelables
Phase Etudes: Assistance et conseil en phase études, optimisation, dossiers de
consultation, lancement des appels d’offre, négociations et contractualisation, suivi des
procédures, rapports d’analyse d’offres, suivi d’études, préparation au choix des
intervenants, préparation et mise au point des marchés travaux
Suivi de l’opération : Suivi des travaux, réunions de MO, participation aux réunions de
chantier, assistance à la réception, suivi du parfait achèvement, vérification des performances
contractuelles
Gestion de l’opération : Contrats, contrats
administrative de l’opération, contentieux
d’assurance, comptable,
financière
et
Missions managériales : Pilotage et qualité (logiciel interne), pilotage sous-traitants /
partenaires, management projet

Ingénieur Bâtiment (ESTP, Arts et Métiers, HEI, INSA, Ponts & Chaussées ...)
Formation universitaire Bac+5 (Génie civil, Bâtiment ...)
