OECD LEED FORUM ON PARTNERSHIPS AND LOCAL
DEVELOPMENT (VENICE, 18-19 APRIL)
The 12th Annual Meeting of the OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and Local
Development will take place on 18th-19th April 2016 in Venice, Italy. This year the
Forum will examine how localities can support culture and creative industries,
which can act as a powerful driving force in areas such as tourism, urban
regeneration, and social inclusion.

SWEDISH RURAL PARLIAMENT (VISBY, 27-29 MAY)
All rural developers are welcome to the Swedish rural parliament, one of the
largest gatherings for rural development in Europe. All Sweden Shall Live (Hela
Sverige ska leva) has arranged this event every second year since the mid-90s.
The theme of 2016 is ”Towards a balanced country”.

ALLIES FOR THE INTELLIGENT AND SUSTAINABLE
DEVELOPMENT OF CITIES (MONTRÉAL, 7-9 SEPTEMBER)
The Global Social Economy Forum - GSEF 2016, which will take place in
Montréal, Canada, on 6-9 September, is the third edition of this international
gathering. More than 2,000 participants will address the collaboration between
local governments and social and solidarity economy actors for the
development of cities.

England, the Netherlands, France and Belgium.

CITIES IN TRANSITION
This book focuses on the sustainability transitions initiated in 40 European
cities. Four key domains—local energy systems, local green spaces, local
water systems and local labour markets—have been the focus of the field
research investigating local potentials for social innovation and new forms of civil
society self-organisation.

GUIDE POUR LE TOURISME ET LA DURABILITÉ DANS LA
PÊCHE ARTISANALE ET L'AGROALIMENTAIRE
C’est le titre du livre électronique que vient de lancer le Greenwich Maritime
Centre. Il s’agit d’une réalisation TourFish, projet financé par le programme
européen INTERREG IV A «2 Mers». Le projet a mobilisé cinq partenaires situés
au Royaume-Uni, en France, en Belgique et aux Pays-Bas.
