1.Effective29thMarch2016.MWOPatriceTremblaywillretireafter20plusyearsofloyal
anddedicatedservicetotheCanadianArmedForces.
2.BorninChicoutimionMarch1st1975,MasterWarrantOfficerPatriceTremblayenrolledin
theCanadianArmedForces(CAF)onOctober11,1995asamemberofarmoredcrew.Following
hisbasictrainingandcrewmanqualification,hewastransferredtotheBSquadronofthe12e
RégimentBlindéduCanada(12RBC).Between1999and2002hefulfilledmanypositions
throughouttheRegimenttoendupastheCO’sLeopardgunnerintheRHQsection.
3.PatricetransferredtotheAmmunitionTechniciantradeinOctober2002andon
completionofhistraininginBordenwaspostedtoKingston,On.In2005hewaspromotedto
therankofMasterCorporalandwaspostedbacktoBordenbutthistime,asanammunition
andEODinstructoratCFSAL.Duringthattime,hegraduatedfromtheCIEDOperator’scourse
andjoinedtheEODCenter#12.In2008hecamebacktotheprovinceofQuébectojointhe
NationalSupportElementhighreadinesstraining.Afterhisdeployment,hecamebackto
AmmunitionPlatoonoftheSupplyCoyfromthe5SvcBnastheexplosiveareasupervisor.He
waspromotedtotherankofWarrantOfficer(WO)inApril2010hewasaffectedrightawayto
theOpsWarrantposition.HewasthanpromotedtotherankofMasterWarrantOfficer(MWO)
inJune2013andwaspostedtotheMunitionExperimentalandTestingCentre(METC)in
ValcartierastheSeniorAmmunitionTechnician.SinceAugust2015,heholdsthepositionsof
SeniorAmmunitionTechnicianandunitSergeantMajoratMETC.
4.MasterWarrantOfficerTremblayhasdeployedonanumberofdomesticandinternational
exercisesandoperationssuchasOPSAGUENAYin1996,OPRÉCUPÉRATIONin1998,OP
PRUDENCEin1999andOPATHENAin2009.
5.PatricehasacceptedacivilianjobasTrialDirectoratMETC.
6.Patricehasrequestedasmallinformalfarewelltobeheldonthe1stApril201612:30atLa

soncoursderecrueetdemétier,ilestmutéàl’EscadronBdu12eRégimentblindéduCanada
(RBC).Entre1999et2002,ilaoccupédifférentposteauseinduRégimentdoncceluide
CanonnierduCommandantsurlevéhiculeLéopard.
3.En2002ilaquittéleRégimentpourserendreàBordenpourycomplétersaformationde
TechniciendeMunitions(TechMun).Suiteàcetteformation,ilfutmutéàKingstonentantque
TechMun.En2005,ilestpromuCaporal-Chefpourensuiteêtremutéàl’écoleCFSALde
BordencommeinstructeurenmunitionetNEM.Durantcettemutation,ilacomplétéla
formationd’opérateurCIEDetaensuiteétéemployécommeopérateurNEMauCentre
d’enlèvementdesexplosifs#12.DeretourdanslaprovincedeQuébecenjuin2008,iljoint
l’élémentdeSoutienNationaletparticipeàlamontéeenpuissancedelaRoto7.Deretourau
paysàlafindel’année2009,iljointlePelotondesmunitionsdelaCied’Approvisionnementdu
5BonSvcentantquesuperviseurdessecteursexplosif.Promuaugraded’Adjudantenavril
2010,ilestréaffectédanslapositiond’adjudantdesopérations.Enjuin2013,ilestpromuau
graded’Adjudant-MaîtreetestmutéauCentred’Essaisetd’ExpérimentationsenMunitionsà
Valcartier(CEEM)entantqueTechnicienSeniordesMunitions.Depuis2015,iloccupeles
