Members of staff usually let them in their personal locker room that is before getting into the interior of the prison. Visitors cant carry them so they have to let them in their own cars or somewhere else, there are not lockers for them on visitors entrance anymore, since is a risk for the secutiry of the prison. If a member of the staff wants to make a call durign the service, he/she can do it for free from a prison phone if it ia a local call. If it is a call to a mobile phone can do that but then hhave to pay for it. Thats not the same in all prisons, but is the most extended use. If someome of the staff has to be contacted with, he/she is phoned to his/her personal telephone. Just prison directors and vice directors have cell phones from the prison. Hope that is helpful for all of you Yours Alberto Tellez AcaipUSO Original Message From: Adrian Neagoe To: Diane Gassner ; Nadja Salson ; Sindicat SNLP Cc: [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; Carbo, Frans ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; Rath Sven Erik (Region sør) ; [email protected] ; Norman Ann ; [email protected] ; Jorge Alves Sent: Tuesday, March 10, 2015 9:29 AM Subject: Fwd: In the attention of our colleagues from the EPSU prison services network / Dans l'attention de nos collègues du réseau des services pénitentiaires EPSU In the attention of our colleagues from the EPSU prison services network Dear colleagues, Following the discussions we had in London about network being more active on different topics, here is a first challenge:) the Romanian prison administration is preparing to implement new rules regarding the organization https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/?ui=2&ik=d19bfd2f70&view=pt&q=epsu&qs=true&search=query&msg=14c0a6bfa0ab138b&siml=14c0a6bfa0ab138b 1/3 3/19/2015 Gmail Re: In the attention of our colleagues from the EPSU prison services network / Dans l'attention de nos collègues du réseau des services pén… of prisons. One of the rules is regarding the personal cell phones of the staff, which until now they were deposit at the entrance of the prison in individual boxes but in the future will be totally forbidden. Can you please tell me how are things in this aspect in your country? The staff can deposit the personal cell phones at the entrance of the prison, in special places (boxes) or it is forbidden to enter the gate with personal phones? The visitors can deposit personal belongings as cell phones and money in separate places than the staff before going to the visit room? If one of the staff members wants to call his family during the service he can do that by going to the gate and use his mobile, or by using one of the prison phones or a public phone or he can not call? In case of an emergency, the unit call the staff on his personal cell or the staff is endowed with cellphones from the prison? Thank you very much for helping us in dealing with this subject!
