English teacher – Primary school (ref. ENS-AGL1-1601)
Lycée Condorcet - the International French School of Sydney is an independent, co-educational
school in Maroubra which caters to students from Preschool to Year 12 and follows the French
curriculum.
Approved in accordance with the French Education Ministry, the school is looking for a full-time
English Teacher (24 + 3 hours per week) for primary from the 15th August 2016.
As part of the pedagogical team, the teacher:
 Helps the students develop a grasp of the English language at the recognised level
(European, NAPLAN).
 Contributes to the school’s exposure to its educational and cultural environment.
 Positively contributes to the bilingual teaching project of the school.
The main duties of this position are:
 Teaching English to pupils from Kindy to Year 5 in consultation with other English teachers
and French teachers in primary school.
 Managing competence groups.
 Individual follow-up of the pupils and managing their difficulties.
Under the authority of the Primary Director, the candidate must:
 Hold a degree from the Australian education system or another English speaking education
system (Great Britain, Canada…).
 Be registered and accredited to teach in NSW.
 Have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa.
 Have a successful work experience teaching in primary in the Australian education system or
another English speaking system.
 Show good knowledge of children aged between 5 and 11 as well as the pedagogical
activities which need to be developed and implemented as part of teaching strengthened
English and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning).
 Master the French language (minimum level B1 or B2).
 Show a real ability to work as part of a team.
It is an offence under the NSW Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act 1998 for a person

Enseignant(e) d’anglais– Ecole primaire (réf. ENS-AGL1-1601)
Le Lycée Condorcet - the International French School of Sydney, établissement privé, mixte, situé à
Maroubra, accueille les élèves de la maternelle à la terminale et suit le programme scolaire français.
Homologué par le ministère français de l’Education nationale, l’établissement recrute un(e)
enseignant(e) d’anglais à temps complet (24 +3 h/semaine) pour l’école primaire à partir du 15 août
2016.
Au sein de l’équipe pédagogique, l’enseignant(e) :
 met en œuvre l’acquisition par tous les élèves qui lui sont confiés d’un niveau de maîtrise
reconnu de la langue anglaise (cadre européen, NAPLAN).
 contribue à l’ouverture de l’établissement sur son environnement éducatif et culturel.
 renforce le projet d’enseignement bilingue de l’établissement
Les principales activités qui concourent à l’accomplissement de la mission sont :
 l’enseignement en langue anglaise d’élèves en classe de GS au CM2 en concertation avec
les autres enseignant(e)s d’anglais et les enseignant(e)s français de l’école primaire.
 la prise en charge de groupes de compétences.
 le suivi individualisé des élèves et la prise en charge de leurs difficultés.
Placé(e) sous l’autorité du directeur de l’école primaire, le/la candidat(e) devra :
 être titulaire du système éducatif australien ou d’un autre système éducatif anglophone
(Grande-Bretagne, Canada…).
 être autorisé à enseigner dans les établissements du 2nd degré du NSW
 posséder un visa de travail australien ou néo-zélandais adéquat.
 posséder une expérience réussie de l’enseignement primaire dans le système australien ou
dans un autre système éducatif anglophone.
 montrer une bonne connaissance des enfants de 5 à 11 ans ainsi que des activités
pédagogiques à développer et à mettre en œuvre dans le cadre de l’enseignement renforcé
de l’anglais.
 maîtriser la langue française (niveau B1 ou B2 minimum).
 montrer de réelles capacités à travailler en équipe.
En vertu de la loi de 1998 sur la protection des enfants dans le NSW (interdiction d’emploi), toute
personne reconnue coupable d’infraction sexuelle grave candidatant pour ces postes, sera en
