Vous trouverez ci-après quelques conseils et recommandations pour sa bonne utilisation, afin d’en
obtenir un maximum de satisfaction.
■ VOTRE MATELAS
Il doit être mis en place sur un sommier bien plan et ne présentant ni aspérités, ni creux, ni bombé
excessifs. La face de couchage est le côté où figure la vignette Steiner.
Nous vous précisons que les propriétés de résistance au feu de nos articles sont altérées en cas
de lavage
■ VOTRE SOMMIER
Il a été spécialement conçu pour recevoir les matelas de la gamme STEINER.
■ LES ACCOTOIRS
Ils sont fournis avec les ferrures « Fixmatic » et les vis spéciales permettant de les adapter au
sommier. La notice explicative jointe à la livraison, vous donnera toutes les précisions utiles pour
la mise en place.
■ LES PIEDS
Ils sont munis d’une tige filetée métallique, qui se visse dans les inserts prévus à chaque angle de
sommier.
CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Votre produit STEINER (matelas et/ou sommier) bénéficie des dispositifs des articles 1641 et suivants
du Code Civil relatifs à la garantie légale de conformité.
En cas de litige ou de réclamation, la date prise en considération pour le calcul de la période de
garantie sera celle de la délivrance du bien, formalisée par le contrat de vente ou le bon de livraison.
Les matelas et sommiers STEINER dont vous venez de faire l’acquisition bénéficient d’une
garantie de 5 ans dans le respect des conditions reprises ci-après. Ces produits sont fabriqués
dimensionnellement selon la norme européenne EN 1334.
Les matériaux et éléments intérieurs des matelas STEINER sont garantis 5 ans contre tout
affaissement anormal ou déformation prématurée dans le cadre d’une utilisation normale. Par
affaissement anormal, il faut entendre une perte de hauteur supérieure à 10 % de la hauteur totale
du matelas.
Sont exclus de la présente garantie le coutil de recouvrement, le fil à coudre, la ou les fermetures à
glissières, les poignées, ou tout autre élément dont la bonne tenue est liée au respect des conditions
d’utilisations.
Les matériaux les plus nobles et performants entrant dans les éléments de confort et d’accueil
des matelas STEINER peuvent présenter à l’usage un léger et normal tassement. Une déperdition
inférieure à 10 % compte tenu de l’épaisseur du matelas ne peut pas justifier une réclamation.
En aucun cas, la présente garantie ne couvre les détériorations pouvant provenir d’un usage anormal,
d’une négligence ou d’une faute de l’utilisateur tels que, fausse manœuvre, chute, cassure, accident,
usage de la force, phénomène anormal d’humidité ou de chaleur, de retouches ou de transformations
apportées au produit.
Pendant la période de garantie, la société TPS s’engage à procéder à la remise en état ou à l’échange
du produit dûment constaté défectueux par un produit identique ou à défaut par un produit équivalent.
Est exclu de la garantie, tout matelas présentant une déformation lors d’une utilisation avec un
sommier non adapté pouvant présenter, creux, aspérités, bombés excessifs, un espacement entre
des lattes apparentes supérieur à 6 cm, ou autre cadre métallique à lattes.
Est également systématiquement exclu de la présente garantie, même dans le cadre de celle-ci, tout
produit présentant des souillures et taches de types hygiène corporelle ou autres indéterminées.
MISE EN ŒUVRE DE LA GARANTIE
Toute réclamation devra être transmise auprès du magasin distributeur du produit concerné.
Elle devra impérativement être accompagnée de la facture prouvant la date et le lieu d’achat ou du
bon de livraison, ainsi que du présent bon de garantie.
Tout échange ou réparation ne pourra avoir pour effet de prolonger la durée initiale de la garantie.
La présente garantie ne couvre pas les frais de transport et d’installation, directs et indirects,
nécessaires à la dite mise en œuvre.
MODALITES D’EXTENSION DE GARANTIE DES MATELAS :
En remplissant le formulaire d’extension de garantie en ligne sur le site www.steiner-literie.com, vous
pouvez bénéficier gratuitement d’une extension de garantie à 10 ans dégressive* sur votre matelas
STEINER.
*Garantie dégressive : En cas de réclamation justifiée plus de 5 ans après la date de délivrance de
votre achat, TPS vous fournira un matelas de valeur équivalente en remplacement, moyennant le
paiement d’un pourcentage du tarif recommandé TTC de ce dernier.

We would like to thank you for purchasing your bedding from TPS .
Below you will find some advice and recommendations to help you get the most satisfaction from
using it.
■ YOUR MATTRESS
It must be placed on a level bed base that has no outcrops, excessive hollows or bumps. The
sleeping side is the side on which the Steiner sticker is placed.
Please note that the fire resistance properties of our products are altered when washed.
■ YOUR BED BASE
It has been specially designed for mattresses from the STEINER line.
■ HEAD BOARDS
They are supplied with «Fixmatic» bars and special screws that can be used to adapt them to the
bed base. The instruction sheet shipped with the delivery will give you al the details on installing
them.
■ BED LEGS
They are fitted with a metal threaded rod to be screwed into the inserts built into each corner of
the bed base.
WARRANTY TERMS
Your STEINER product (mattress and/or bed base) is covered by articles 1641 and following of the
French Civil Code relative to legal compliance warranty.
In the event of a disagreement or a claim, the date taken into account to calculate the warranty period
shall be the date on which the goods were delivered, formalised by the sales contract or the delivery
documents.
The STEINER mattresses and bed bases you have just acquired have a 5 year warranty under the
conditions given below. These products are manufactured according to the size specifications in the
EN 1334 European standard.
The materials and interior elements of STEINER mattresses have a 5 year warranty for any abnormal
collapse or premature deformation when in normal use. An abnormal collapse is defined as a loss in
height of 10% of the total mattress height.
The ticking, thread, zipper(s), handles or any other element of which the condition is related to usage
conditions are excluded from this warranty.
The most noble and high performance materials used in the comfort and sleeping zones of STEINER
mattresses can settle slightly, this is normal. Claims cannot be accepted for a loss of less than 10%
taking into account mattress thickness.
This warranty does not under any circumstances cover deteriorations caused by abnormal
use, negligence or a fault by the user such as, wrong handling, falls,
breakage, accident, the use of force, abnormal humidity or heat, modifications or changes to the
product.
During the warranty period TPS undertakes to repair or replace products that are proven to be
defective by an identical product or failing this, by an equivalent product.
Are excluded from the warranty all mattresses that have been deformed by use on an unsuitable bed
base that may have outcrops, hollows or excessive bumps, spacing between visible slats greater
than 6 cm, or other metal slat frames.
All products soiled or stained resulting from body hygiene or other undetermined soiling and stains
will be systematically excluded from this warranty even within its scope.
CLAIMS
All claims must be made to the reseller outlet for the product in question.
They must imperatively be accompanied by the invoice or delivery document proving the date and
place of purchase and this warranty document.
Any exchanges or repairs will not extend the initial warranty period.
This warranty does not cover transport and installation costs, whether direct or indirect, required to
install the product
EXTENDED MATTRESS WARRANTY:
By completing the warranty extension form on the www.steiner-literie.com site, you can benefit from
a free degressive* 10 year warranty on your STEINER mattress.
* Degressive warranty: In the event of a justified claim more than 5 years after the delivery date of
your purchase, TPS will provide a replacement mattress of an equivalent value against payment of
a percentage of the recommended retail price of the latter.
