The PI instrument of your Perio Master System oscillates at high frequency
during the treatment. In rare cases, when
the instrument is not used properly, these
oscillations may cause it to fracture during
treatment. The rubber dam prevents the
patient from swallowing or inhaling parts of
a fractured or loose instrument. In the event
a rubber dam cannot be placed, instruct the
patient to breathe through the nose during
treatment in order to prevent small parts of
a fractured or loose instrument from being
swallowed or inhaled.
Au cours du traitement, l'instrument
PI de votre Perio Master System est soumis à des vibrations de haute fréquence.
Dans des cas rares, notamment lorsque
l'instrument n'est pas utilisé correctement,
il peut se casser sous l’effet de la vibration.
Par conséquent, avant de commencer le
traitement, veuillez poser une digue pour
en éviter l'ingestion ou l'inhalation par
le patient. Pour les traitements au cours
desquels l’utilisation d’une digue est impossible, informez votre patient qu’il doit
respirer par le nez.
Das PI-Instrumente Ihres Perio Master
Systems wird während der Behandlung in
hochfrequente Schwingungen versetzt. In
seltenen Fällen kann es durch unsachgemässen Gebrauch dazu kommen, dass
die Instrumente und Feilen während der
Behandlung aufgrund dieser Schwingungen abbrechen. Durch Anlegen eines Kofferdamms wird verhindert, dass der Patient ein abgebrochenes Instrument- oder
Feilenteil verschluckt oder einatmet. Sollte
es nicht möglich sein, einen Kofferdamm
anzulegen, sollten Sie, den Patienten dahingehend instruieren, dass er während
der Behandlung durch die Nase atmen
muss.

Durante el tratamiento, el instrumento

a alta frecuencia. En raros casos, cuando
el instrumento no se usa correctamente,
estas oscilaciones pueden ser las responsables de la fractura durante el tratamiento.
Los diques de goma evitan que el paciente
trague o inhale el instrumento fracturado o
perdido. En aquellos tratamientos donde no
se pueden utilizar dique de goma, informe
a su paciente que respire por la nariz.
Nel corso del trattamento, lo strumento del vostro sistema Perio Master
System è sottomesso a delle vibrazioni
d’alta frequenza. In casi rari, cioè quando
lo strumento non è utilizzato correttamente,
può staccarsi sotto l’effetto delle vibrazioni. Perciò, prima di iniziare il trattamento, vogliate porre una diga per evitare la
loro ingestione o inalazione da parte del
paziente. Per i trattamenti nel corso dei
quali non è possibile l’utilizzazione di una
diga, informate il vostro paziente che deve
respirare con il naso.
Under behandlingen vibrerar PI-spetsen från Ert Perio Master System i hög
frekvens. I sällsynta fall när spetsen inte
används på korrekt sätt kan vibrationerna
göra att den bryts av under behandlingen.
En gummifördämning hindrar patienten

skall patienten instrueras att andas genom
näsan under behandlingen för att inte riskera att svälja eller inhalera små bitar av

Before use, always make sure the
plastic coating of the instrument is not worn
or damaged. Only an intact plastic coating
allows the treatment of sensitive surfaces
without risk of damaging them.

le surmoulage plastique de l’instrument

un surmoulage plastique intact permet

must only be tightened with the flat key supplied with the particular Piezon® system.

To tighten the instrument PI, place it
into the endochuck. For optimum efficiency
and safety, make sure the instrument sticks
out of the endochuck by 14 mm.

Never work dry with the Piezon® instruments of your Perio Master System. Always
make sure there is enough irrigating liquid
to avoid heating up the tooth or the instrument end.

to high irrigation liquid flow rate and avoid
using the HVE (high volume evacuation)
to ensure sufficient cooling of instrument
and tooth.
