Medium to full-bodied, with beautiful purity and an elegant, balanced feel, it’s an outstanding drink today, but it will no doubt continue to shine through 2020. 2012 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Les Merrelies A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 90 Drink Cost: The most modern seeming in the lineup (despite seeing no new oak), the 2012 Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Les Merrelies (75% Grenache and 25% Syrah) was aged on lees in 3-4 year old barrels. It exhibits subtle sweet oak in its cassis, licorice and cedar aromas and flavors. This is followed by a medium-bodied, elegant and seamless Séguret that has a supple, fruit loaded personality that’s hard to resist. It’s already drinking beautifully, and I don’t see any reason to delay gratification either. 2010 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Laurances A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, 1 sur 4 11/01/2015 09:24 Printer Friendly Version/Tasting Notes http://www.erobertparker.com/newsearch/printNotes... Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 90 Drink 2014 - 2018 Cost: $23 The 2010 Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Laurances is still outstanding, showing plenty of peppery spice, currants and licorice, medium to full-bodied richness and solid underlying structure. It should continue to evolve nicely through 2018. 2011 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Reserve A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 90 Drink 2014 - 2019 Cost: More modern in style, with sweet oak, black raspberry, licorice and toasted spice, the 2011 Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Réserve is medium to full-bodied, fabulously pure, seamless and silky. The tannin quality here is notable, and this puppy is loaded with sweet fruit. Drink it over the coming 3-5 years. 2011 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Laurances A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 89 Drink 2014 - 2019 Cost: $20 Moving to the 2011s, the Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Laurances has lots of spice, cedar, licorice and pretty red fruits to go with a medium-bodied, savory, yet elegant style. Made from 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah, drink it over the coming 3-5 years. 2 sur 4 11/01/2015 09:24 Printer Friendly Version/Tasting Notes http://www.erobertparker.com/newsearch/printNotes... 2013 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Daurele A Proprietary Blend Dry White Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 88 Drink 2014 - 2017 Cost: These are impressive efforts from proprietor Christian Voeux, who’s also the manager for Chateau de la Nerthe in Chateauneuf du Pape. His 2013 Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret La Daurèle Blanc has pretty citrus blossom, lemon rind and distinct minerality. It opens up nicely in the glass, has mediumbodied richness and juicy acidity. Made from 40% Clairette, 30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Viognier and the rest Ugni-Blanc that was aged on lees in both tank and barrels, it should drink nicely for 2-3 years. 2012 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Laurances A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 88 Drink 2015 - 2021 Cost: The 2012 Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Laurances is 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah that’s aged mostly in tank, yet sees 10% in barrel. It exhibits pretty, perfumed and Grenache driven notes of sweet red and black fruits, seabreeze, leather and flowers. Enjoy this medium-bodied, supple, nicely concentrated effort over the coming 5-6 years. It still has some tannin to integrate, and will be better with another year in bottle. 2013 Domaine de l'Amauve Cotes du Rhone Villages Seguret Laurances A Proprietary Blend Dry Red Table wine from France , Cotes du Rhone Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone, France, Review by Jeb Dunnuck eRobertParker.com # , #216 (Part 2) (Jan 2015) Rating: 88 Drink 2014 - 2022 Cost: 3 sur 4 11/01/2015 09:24 Printer Friendly Version/Tasting Notes http://www.erobertparker.com/newsearch/printNotes... The only 2013 I was able to taste, the deep ruby colored 2013 Côtes du Rhône Village Séguret Laurances is a slightly shifted blend of 55% Grenache, 40% Syrah and the rest Cinsault and Carignan. It has a classic feel in its cracked pepper, sweet black cherry and raspberry fruit, medium-body and fine tannin. The Syrah really shows here, and while already drinking nicely, it will have a solid 7-8 years of longevity. It’s another rock solid release from this estate. 4 sur 4 11/01/2015 09:24
