Project 1 : Les francophones fameux
Project Description: In this project, you will use French to describe a celebrity, professional athlete, scientist, musician,
politician, or other historical figure who comes from a French-speaking country. You will also research the city where that
person was born or spent a significant portion of his/her life.
You will write a detailed paragraph (in French!) describing the famous person of your choice, including as much information as
you possibly can with the French skills you already have. You will also include a table of information about the city that person
comes/came from. Finally, in English, you will write a brief description of the significance of this personality, i.e. why is this
person famous?
