Project 1 : Les francophones fameux Project Description: In this project, you will use French to describe a celebrity, professional athlete, scientist, musician, politician, or other historical figure who comes from a French-speaking country. You will also research the city where that person was born or spent a significant portion of his/her life. You will write a detailed paragraph (in French!) describing the famous person of your choice, including as much information as you possibly can with the French skills you already have. You will also include a table of information about the city that person comes/came from. Finally, in English, you will write a brief description of the significance of this personality, i.e. why is this person famous? The timeline, content checklist, and rubric below will help you be successful on this project. Remember to refer back to both FREQUENTLY, so you know how you will be scored.
