SÉMINAIRE THÉORIE DE LA MATIÈRE CONDENSÉE SUR LE PLATEAU Orsay - Palaiseau - Saclay ****** Jeudi 17 Juin 2010 à 11h00 LPS Bât. 510, Orsay, Petit amphi A bosonization in any dimension and the Monte Carlo Sign Fermion problem CATHERINE PéPIN IPhT, Saclay and IIP, Natal, Brazil We present a New Bosonization Technique valid in any dimension of space and for which patches of the Fermi surface are unnecessary. We argue that when this bosonization is applied to Quantum Monte Carlo simulations, the long standing sign problem of evaluating the fermion paths should disapear. In particular we show that all the Boltzmann weights are now positive in the new bosonized framework. * K.B. Efetov, C. Pepin, H.
