The Excellence Laboratory MILYON supports students with excellent academic records enrolling in

Milyon scholarships are awarded on an annual basis, with possible renewal
Amount: 1 000 euros (tax free)/month/10 months
ELIGIBIL ITY
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence and after the examination of
the application file, consisting of: résumé, motivation letter, academic records, description of the
2015-2016 curriculum, two recommendation letters . Details concerning the required documents : see
here. Skills in French or English (according to the program) will be taken into account.

Excellence Laboratory Milyon
The Excellence Laboratory Milyon is a “Future Investments Program” within the Lyon University. Milyon federates
350 researchers from three research units in Mathematics and Computer Science: Institut Camille Jordan (UMR
CNRS 5208), Laboratoire de l’Informatique du Parallélisme (UMR C NRS 5668), Unité de Mathématiques Pures et
Appliquées (UMR CNRS 5669).
Milyon fosters interdisciplinary research. It also stimulates interactions between Mathematics and C omputer
Science and between the researchers from the three research units in three main directions:
- research
- support to innovative training programs
- dissemination of scientific culture
