L’association Diambars est une association fondée en 2000 par Jimmy Adjovi-Boco, Saer Seck et
les champions du monde de football 1998 Bernard Lama et Patrick Vieira, dans le but de « faire de
la passion pour le football un moteur pour l’éducation ».
En 2003, Diambars a ouvert un premier institut au Sénégal ; cet institut accueille de jeunes footballeurs talentueux et leur offre un lieu où ils pourront bénéficier d’un entraînement sportif de haut
niveau tout en poursuivant leur scolarité.
Un centre Diambars a également été ouvert en Guyane. Un projet de centre est en marche en
Afrique du Sud, et l’association souhaite ouvrir d’autres centres en Afrique d’ici 2015.
