She is the First Prize winner of the Stravinsky International Piano Competition and made her debut at the age of 10 with the Montréal Symphony Orchestra. Charles Dutoit subsequently invited her as soloist on the orchestra’s tour to Asia. She won Second Prize at the 1992 Montreal International Music Competition, at which she also won a Special Prize for the best interpretation of the unpublished work. In 1993, she received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Governor General of Canada and in 1994 won the Second Prize at the First International Franz Liszt Competition in Weimar. In 1999, she was awarded the prestigious Virginia Parker Prize by the Canada Council for the Arts. She graduated from both the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School before she turned twenty. She then decided to further her studies in Europe at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg with Karl­Heinz Kämmerling and received the KonzertexamDiplom from the Hochschule "Franz Liszt" in Weimar, where she worked with the late Lazar Berman. She also graduated from the AccademiaPianistica in Imola, Italy with the honorary title of "Master" and most recently from the SMU Meadows School of the Arts under the tutelage of JoaquínAchúcarro. Ms. Chung is the recipient of the prestigious Honors Diploma at the AccademiaChigiana in Siena, Italy. Lucille Chung has been hailed as “ a considerable artist, admirable for her bold choice of music” by the Sunday Times for her recordings of the complete piano works by GyörgyLigeti on the Dynamic label. The first volume was released in 2001 to great critical acclaim, receiving the maximum R10 from Répertoire in France, 5 Stars from the BBC Music Magazine, and 5 Stars on Fono Forum in Germany. The final volume, which also contains works for two pianos, was recorded with her husband, AlessioBax and once again received the prestigious R10 from Répertoire. Her all­Scriabin CD won the “ Best Instrumental Recording” prize at the 2003 Prelude Classical Awards in Holland as well as the coveted R10 Répertoire in France. She also recorded the two Mendelssohn Piano Concerti on the Richelieu/Radio­Canada label which was nominated for the Prix Opus in Canada. In August 2005, she recorded Saint­Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals with the Fort Worth Symphony under Maestro Miguel Harth­Bedoya which was released in 2006. A new solo album was released in 2008. Am Curtis Institute of Music und an der Juilliard School in New York ausgebildet, wo sie bei Seymour Lipkin studierte, setzte Chung ihre Studien bei Karl­Heinz Kämmerling am Salzburger Mozarteum fort. 1997 erhielt sie ihr Diplom als Konzertpianistin an der Hochschule für Musik ‘Franz Liszt’ in Weimar, wo sie bei Lazar Berman studierte. Im Jahr 2000 machte sie ihren Master an der Internationalen Klavierakademie ‘Incontri col Maestro’ in Imola. Sie hat auch am Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas ausgebildet, wo sie bei dem großen spanischen Pianisten Joaquín Achúcarro studierte. 2002 erhielt sie an der Accademia Chigiana in Siena den “Diploma d’Onore”. Ihre CD für das Label SRC RicheLieu mit den beiden Mendelssohn­Konzerten wurde 1998 für den ‘Prix Opus’ nominiert. Auf das selbe Jahr geht auch eine CD mit Musik für Soloklavier für das Label Palexa zurück. Für Dynamic spielte Chung 2001 die von der internationalen Kritik enthusiastisch aufgenommenen Studien von Ligeti ein. Diese CD erhielt von der französischen Zeitschrift ‘Repertoire’ die Note “R10” und von den Zeitschriften BBC Music Magazine (England) und Fono Forum (Deutschland) jeweils 5 Sterne. 2002 spielte Musik von Scriabin und diese CD erhielt noch einmal die Note “R10” von ‘Repertoire. 2006 notierte Saint­Saëns Carnval des Animaux unter Miguel Harth­Bedoya und dem Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Lucille Chung parle couramment le français, l’anglais, l’italien, l’allemand, le russe et le coréen..

丁允晞10岁首次登台，与指挥大师迪图瓦（Charles Dutoit )指挥的蒙特列尔交响乐团合作演出协奏曲。她的过人天资和出众才华令迪图瓦赞不绝口。随后邀请她随蒙特利尔交响乐团赴亚洲各国巡演。之后，她与
费城管弦乐团，” “Moscow Virtuosi” 室内乐团, 威尔士BBC交响乐团，比利时弗拉芒广播交响乐团，Tenerife交响管弦乐团，魏玛国家管弦乐团，洛林爱乐乐团，汉城爱乐乐团，KBS管弦乐团，德州Fort Worth交响乐团，UNAM爱乐乐团以及加拿大所有著名乐团合作演出了大量的协奏曲。她合作过的指挥大师还有潘德雷茨基（Krzysztof Penderecki）, 斯皮瓦科夫(Vladimir Spivakov)，阿布雷希特（Gerd Albrecht）等。

１９８９年，丁允晞获得斯特拉文斯基国际钢琴比赛第一名。１９９２年，荣获蒙特利尔国际音乐比赛第二名以及特殊奖项“未发表作品最佳演
绎奖”。１９９３年，加拿大政府授予她“杰出成就奖”。１９９４年，荣获第一届李斯特国际比赛第二名。１９９９年，她还获得加拿大艺术委员会颁发的
