“Les Longeays” hails from the small appellation of Pouilly-Vinzelles, which borders
Pouilly-Fuissé A.O.C. This delightful wine showcases high-toned, intense tropical and
vanilla aromas. On the palate, there are powerful calcaire notes along with hints of
pineapple and brown sugar.
Domaine Le Clos Noly is named after the oldest vineyard at the domain. It is owned
and managed by the charismatic Marie-Pierre Manciat, who represents the fifth
generation of vignerons in her family. The estate covers 56 acres spread out among
five villages. The domain is meticulously run with the utmost focus on bringing in
perfect fruit. With yields that are routinely 20-30 percent lower than what is allowed
in each given appellation, Marie-Pierre is able to create wines that are rich
and powerful, but also express the limestone-rich soils of each terroir. Domaine Le
Clos Noly also practices sustainable viticulture.
