Admission Policies and Procedures
Selma University is a four- year institution accredited by ABHE (Association for Biblical
Higher Education). The course of study, leading to the Master of Arts degree, is open to all persons
holding the baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a recognized college or university.
Graduates from non-accredited colleges are admitted conditionally. This condition is removed
once the student demonstrates the ability to pursue graduate work successfully. Every student who
enters must prove to be of sound moral character and worthy of the Christian ministry.
The final decision for admittance is based on the following:
1. A complete admission application on file that is signed and dated.
2. An official copy of immunization records, and a complete physical examination (Less than two
years old).
3. Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to the Office of
Admissions.

Selma University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education in Canada and
the United States . ABHE is recognized as a national accrediting agency by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA),
the successor of the Council on Postsecondary Education (COPA), and subsequently the Commission on Recognition of
Postsecondary Accreditation (COPRA). ABHE is also listed by the United States Department of Education as a recognized accrediting
agency for biblical higher education.
