DESCRIPTION:
APPLICATION:
TRILUBE XTC is a lubricant and softening agent to be
added in the bath when bleaching cellulosic fibres with
caustic soda and hydrogen peroxide.
In the bath, when bleaching cellulosic fibres or their
blends with synthetic fibres, an addition of 1.0 - 3.0 g/l of
TRILUBE XTC will greatly improve the hand and the
appearance of the fabric.
Lubricant and softening agent to be used in the bath when
dyeing cellulosic fibres with direct or reactive dyestuffs.
Softening agent to be applied on dyed or bleached
woollen yarns for hand knitting application.
In fact the fabric will become very soft, supple and limpy,
but most important, the fabric will be completely free from
any pilling or snagging caused by friction in the machine.
This applies especially to goods knitted with open-end
spun yarns.

In the bath when dyeing cellulosic fibres with either direct
or reactive dyes, an addition of 2.0 to 3.0 g/l of TRILUBE
XTC will promote a level dyeing by its mild retarding effect
and by its good penetrating properties but also by its
excellent lubricating properties.
Storage stability :
Stable to acids and
alkalis. Stable also to the
salts causing
hardness
of water.
Off white to yellowish, thin
dispersion.
Indeed, TRILUBE XTC is extremely effective as a
dyebath lubricant, even in presence of high
concentrations of electrolytes; the formation of creases,
crack marks, and chafe marks will consequently be
eliminated.

In the bath, when softening woollen or blended woollen
yarns, TRILUBE XTC will improve the feel and the knitting
properties of the same. This property will be especially
valuable for hand knitting yarns.
In this application, an addition of 3.0 to 5.0 g/l will usually
be adequate.
