INVITATION
C’est avec plaisir et enthousiasme que nous vous invitons à participer à la troisième édition du Tournoi de golf
des Aigles d’Or de l’École secondaire Dalbé-Viau et de l’association de hockey mineur de Lachine (AHL). Ce
tournoi, au profit du volet sportif de l’école et de l’association, se tiendra au Club de golf Dorval, le samedi 23
mai 2015. Notre objectif premier étant d’offrir le meilleur encadrement possible aux élèves athlètes de notre
école et des jeunes athlètes de notre communauté, votre soutien est donc essentiel dans l’atteinte de cet objectif.
En 2014-2015, c’est 42% des jeunes qui ont participé à au moins un sport à l’école Dalbé-Viau. Durant cette
période, les équipes sportives ont amassé trois bannières importantes lors de championnats régionaux. Depuis
l’implantation du programme sportif, le taux de décrochage a chuté de 30%. Bâtir un tel programme nécessite
une implication de tous les instants. En tant que membre de la communauté Lachinoise, vous pouvez nous aider à faire progresser ce programme.
De plus, l’association de hockey Lachine offre l’encadrement nécessaire aux jeunes afin qu’ils puissent s’amuser dans un contexte sportif tout en apprenant l’importance de la discipline, du travail en équipe et le respect
de soi. L’AHL compte plus de 400 jeunes dans ses rangs, des plus jeunes (5-6 ans) aux plus vieux (18-21 ans). Le
sport, soit à l’école ou au communautaire, est une école de vie importante pour les jeunes.

INVITATION
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we invite you to participate at the third annual edition of the
Aigles d’Or of École Secondaire Dalbé-Viau and the Lachine Hockey Association (AHL) golf tournament.
This tournament will benefit the sport organisation of the school as well as the Lachine hockey association; the
tournament will take place at the Dorval Golf Club on May 23rd 2015. Our main goal is to offer a well organized
environment so our young athletes can develop both at school and in our community. Your support is paramount in order for us to achieve our objectives.
In 2014-2015, over 42% of students have participated at least in one sport at the school. During that period,
the different teams have accumulated 3 Regional championships. What is more important is the fact that during the same period, school dropout rate was reduced by 30%. In order to accomplish such programs, it takes
time, dedication and finances. Your support will ensure the continuity of such sport programs.
It is true to say that sport is more than just an activity; it is also a series of life learning experiences, team
effort, respect and discipline. The AHL gives that opportunity to more than 400 children from age 5 to 21. With
different development programs, the AHL ensure that the kids learn the essential in team sport. We are
counting on your support to keep the game of hockey affordable and enjoyable.
