é à Hilversum en 1959, Olaf obtient en 1980 son diplôme
de l’École de journalisme d’Utrecht, aux Pays-Bas, où il vit
et travaille toujours aujourd’hui. Il a participé à des expositions
collectives ou personnelles au niveau international, et nombre
de ses œuvres figurent aujourd’hui dans des collections
publiques ou privées. Olaf a été lauréat du concours du
Jeune Photographe européen en 1988 et Photographe de
l’année aux International Colour Awards 2006. Récemment il
a reçu le prix Johannes Vermeer 2011, distinction honorifique
décernée par le gouvernement néerlandais.
