Finalité générale du projet
➢ Développer la Zone Industrielle de Daugavpils afin de la rendre compétitive et d'attirer les
investissements locaux et étrangers ;
➢ Développer les compagnies déjà existantes et attirer de nouveaux investisseurs ;
➢ Améliorer la compétitivité des compagnies européennes et du marché mondial.
Activités du projet
➢ Développement des Ressources Humaines - conception d'un programme pilote afin d'améliorer les
capacités de gestion ;
➢ Soutien à l'entreprenariat - mise en place d'une unité de gestion de la Zone Industrielle afin d'en assurer l'activité ;
➢ Travaux d'infrastructure : amélioration et reconstruction de routes ;
➢ Amélioration des infrastructures de la zone : reconstruction des routes principales et secondaires,
rénovation de l'éclairage, mise en place de panneaux de signalisation ;
➢ Création d'un centre de développement administratif et de formation de spécialistes - organisation de
séminaires de comptabilité, de finances, de stratégie et gestion, de développement des ressources
humaines, de développements de capacités personnelles et des technologies de l'information.
Résultats du projet
➢ Développement d'un plan de marketing de la Zone Industrielle de Daugavpils ;
➢ Publication et dissémination de supports promotionnels informant des possibilités au sein de la Zone
Industrielle ;
➢ Reconstruction des routes menant à la Zone Industrielle (3,26 kms au total), installation de
nouveaux éclairages, de panneaux de signalisation, et d'espaces verts ;
➢ Programme pilote du centre de développement administratif.

Aims of the project
➢ To establish Daugavpils Industrial Zone (DIZ) as a competitive and constantly developing industrial territory with possibilities for further growing, where local and foreign production and service companies
will operate ;
➢ To develop existing companies and to attract new investors ;
➢ To raise competitiveness of the companies in European and world markets.
Activities of the project
➢ Human resources development - conception of a pilot program to raise abilities of higher and medium
level management ;
➢ Support of entrepreneurship - establishment of DIZ management unit to ensure activity of industrial
zone ;
➢ Infrastructure - improvement and reconstruction of the roads ;
➢ Improvement of infrastructure in the zone - reconstruction of main and branch roads, reconstruction
of the lightning, road signs and direction signs installation ;
➢ Creation of business administration development centre and education of leading specialists - seminars in business accounting, finances, strategy and management, human resources development,
development of manager's personal abilities and information technologies.
Results of the project
➢ DIZ development and marketing plan, including program of public relations development ;
➢ Publication and dissemination of promotional materials about business possibilities in DIZ ;
➢ Reconstruction of DIZ roads (3,26 km in total), installation of lightning, road and direction signs, as
well as green plantations ;
➢ Pilot program of business administration development centre.
