faceless fantasy dipped
in scheming life journeying across endless
time in search of a silver
screen to unfold the story of
one woman and two men.
EKAMATH EKA RATEKA
(Once Upon A Time) is based
on the short story Pour une
nuit d’amour written by world
famous French novelist
Emile Zola (1840 1904). It embodies a
universal theme and
consists of realistic
characters depicted
from the real life. I
named my film EKAMATH EKA RATEKA.
According to the
Buddha’s preaching, all
existences are continuously changing. The
human life entails misery, greed, ignorance
etc. The human beings
on account of their
greed to realize their
satisfactions constantly
face unpleasant experiences and become
depressed when there
is failure. EKAMATH
EKA RATEKA is such a
cinematic depiction
which relates a story of
an old, ugly flautist player
who craves the love of a
beautiful girl who hates him
and the young lawyer coming
in between their love.
If you are a woman and if
you think it’s a dignity to be
a woman, that doesn’t mean
you should plead in front of
the man because of the devotion and the respect which
you have towards him. That
is the message of EKAMATH
EKA RATEKA.

Bouddha, tout ce qui existe
dans cet univers change constamment. La vie d’un etre
humain est faite de misere,
d’avidite et d’ignorance.
L’etre humain eprouve
1’envie d’obtenir tout ce que
lui propose son desir et la
souffrance nait de la non-satisfaction et de la frustration,
c’est ce dont le film EKAMATH
EKA RATEKA nous parle. C’est
un triangle d’amour. Le film
relate l’histoire d’une personne laide, joueur de flute, qui
reve de l’amour d’une fille
