Cost of Compulsory Boat Insurance
We encourage all customers to take great care not to damage their boat, or that of anyone else,
while on holiday. All customers must pay either a non-refundable Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or
a refundable Collision Damage Deposit.
Option 1: Non-refundable Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
With CDW, you will be fully covered if your boat is returned damaged, or if there is any accidental
damage or injury to third parties. Please find our rates below, which vary depending on the boat.
Please note: in certain instances we may insist on a deposit rather than the CDW.
Option 2: Refundable Collision Damage Deposit
You may opt to pay a refundable damage deposit instead. This is payable on arrival at the base and
will only be retained if the boat or any of its equipment or inventory is returned damaged or lost, or
in the case of any accidental damage to third parties. The amount of deposit required for each boat
varies. The prices for each boat are listed below
