Visa Application Requirements
You Have Requested:

Documents Required:
1. Passport
 The passport must be valid for 6 months from the date the application is submitted at the embassy
and have at least two blank pages.
2. Two Passport Photos
 The photos must:
o Be a standard sized passport photo
o Have a white background
o Have been taken within the last 6 months
3. Proof of Funds
 This should be a copy of the applicant’s latest bank statement
4. Hotel Confirmation/Invitation Letter

Either a hotel confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host
o This must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs


This should be a copy of the applicant’s latest bank statement or utility bill for a UK address
8. Copy of Yellow Fever Certificate
9. Evidence of Good Moral Character ( CRB, DBS, Certificate, Affidavit or Referral Letter)
Visa Application Requirements
10. Proof of Travel Arrangements

If the applicant is flying into DRC
o The flights must be booked for a destination in DRC
o The flights must be confirmed and the tickets issued
o It must also be for an airport close to the applicant’s intended destination. For example if
the applicant is travelling to Eastern DRC the airport should be Goma or Bukavu
OR

If the applicant is travelling overland into DRC a certified letter will need to be obtained via the
applicants contact in DRC. It must:
o Be certified by the local Direction Generale de Migration and the local Agence National
de Reseignement
o It needs to give details of the date that the applicant will be collected
o Where they will cross the border
o The registration details of the vehicle

To Diversity Travel
We recommend that items be sent to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery service or other secure and
traceable delivery services. Our opening hours to receive applications are between 8.45am – 5.30pm
Monday – Friday.
From Diversity Travel
We can return the passport to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery, DHL or UPS. There is no consequential loss
coverage for next day couriers (Special Deliver, DHL and UPS).
We also have a same day bike service or it is possible to collect from our office.
For urgent applications or if there would be a significant financial loss should the passport be delayed we
recommend using the same day bike service or collecting from our office.
The fees for returning your passport are listed below. Please clearly indicate your preferred return
delivery method on the Visa Booking Form.

cours de validité, celle-ci devant être supérieures a six (6) mois
2) Présenter deux (2) photos passeport
3) Produire un document attestant de la qualité de résident (Carte de
résidence ou permis de résidence)
4) Justifier des moyens de subsistance suffisants et honnêtes durant son
séjour en République Démocratique du Congo
5) Justifier d’une bonne moralité dans le pays de résidence (Extrait de
casier judiciaire ou attestation de bonne vie et mœurs)
6) Presenter une carte de vaccination en cours de validité
7) Justifier d’une activité économique, professionnelle ou autre,
susceptible d’apporter un intérêt durant son séjour au pays (*)
8) Justifier d’un motif valable de voyage
9) Présenter une prise en charge dûment établie de votre partenaire ou
hôte en RD Congo :
- telle qu’exigée par la DGM
- soit légalisée uniquement par le Ministère des Affaires Etrangères
