 Info session and preparation for a demonstration - Monday, November 2nd
at 1:30pm: Community groups will be on strike on November 3rd to advocate for
better funding and for more recognition. Come participate in a meeting to
discuss the reasons for this strike and to prepare the materials for the
demonstration on November 3rd.
 Community groups on strike - Tuesday, November 3rd at 11:15am: Join us
at PAL for coffee and a snack before we head out at 11:45am. We will be
meeting up with other Verdun groups at 12:00pm at the de l'Église metro and
then heading downtown to participate in the demonstration taking place there.
 40th anniversary ambassador training - Wednesday, November 4th and
11th at 1:30pm: Now's your chance to come and learn how you can have a
practical and important role in one of the big events coming up soon to celebrate
PAL's 40th anniversary! These training sessions will enable interested members
to be prepared to represent PAL at the musical gala evening at the Lion d'Or on
November 18, 2015.
 PAL's 40th anniversary musical gala evening - Wednesday, November 18 at
7:00pm: PAL is inviting members of the community to celebrate 40 years with
us! It will be a musical evening rich with fun entertainment, touching testimonies,
performances by both PAL members and by musicians, and opportunities to
meet new people! This awesome event is being held at the Lion d'Or and the
doors open at 6:30pm. Members who would like to take part are asked to come
talk to one of the Drop-in workers. (Please see info on "Ambassador training").
 Kitchen Club - Thursday, November 5th at 1:30pm: The Kitchen Club is
PAL's new group for members who would like to commit to being involved in the
meal preparation and other tasks in the kitchen. In the next meeting, we will
continue laying groundwork for this project and choose recipe's. Please see one
of the Drop-in workers if you would like more information.
 Christmas celebration with PAL - Friday, December 11: Tickets will be on
sale from November 10th until December 5th for our annual Christmas
celebration. A surprise is planned this year in honour of PAL's 40th anniversary!
Tickets will be 5.00$ for permanent members and 7.50$ for temporary and
community members.

 Session d’info et préparation pour une manif - Lundi, 2 novembre à 13h30 :
Les groupes communautaires seront en grève le 3 novembre pour revendiquer un
meilleur financement et plus de reconnaissance. Venez participer à une rencontre
pour discuter des raisons de cette grève et préparer le matériel pour la manifestation
du 3 novembre.
 Manifestation des groupes communautaires - Mardi, 3 novembre 11h15 :
Rendez-vous à P.A.L. pour un café-rencontre. Nous partirons à 11h45 pour rejoindre
les autres groupes de Verdun à 12h00 au métro de l’Église et participer à la
manifestation au centre-ville.
 Formation des ambassadeurs du 40e anniversaire – Mercredi, 4 et 11 novembre
à 13h30 : Après avoir présenté les plans à venir pour le 40e anniversaire de P.A.L. à
l'assemblée spéciale des membres, voici la chance pour les membres de
concrètement prendre part aux célébrations! Ces formations permettent aux
membres intéressés d'être bien préparés afin de représenter admirablement PAL au
Lion d'or à la Soirée gala du 18 novembre 2015.
 Soirée gala du 40e anniversaire de PAL - Mercredi, 18 novembre à 19h00:
PAL invite toute la communauté à célébrer ses 40 ans avec nous! Une soirée
musicale riche en divertissements, en rencontres, comprenant des témoignages
touchants et des performances électrisantes! La soirée se déroulement au Cabaret
Lion d'or, les portes ouvrent dès 18h30. Les membres qui souhaitent y prendre part
doivent venir parler avec les intervenantes du Drop-in. (Voir «formation des
ambassadeurs»)
 Club Cuisine - Jeudi, 5 novembre à 13h30: Le Club cuisine vient d'être inauguré
à P.A.L. pour les membres qui souhaitent s'engager à s'impliquer dans la préparation
des repas et dans d'autres tâches connexes. Pour la prochaine réunion, nous
continuerons à élaborer les bases de ce club et travaillerons sur les choix de
recettes. Venez voir les employées du Drop-in pour avoir plus d'informations.
 Party de Noël de P.A.L. - Vendredi, 11 décembre: Les billets sont en vente dès
le 10 novembre et jusqu'au 5 décembre pour notre party de «famille de PAL»
annuel! Des surprises sont à prévoir en cette année d'anniversaire! Les billets
coûtent 5,00$ pour les membres permanents, 7,50$ pour les membres temporaires
et communautaires.
