Une nouvelle fois c’est un magnifique finish qu’ont pu suivre les spectateurs présents ce jour sur le Golf du Lys
Chantilly pour ce dernier tour de l’Open International de Paris.
Once again the last round of the International Paris Open offered the spectators a magnificent finale at Lys Chantilly
golf course.
D
éjà le menu était prometteur puisque dans la partie de tête se
trouvaient côte à côte le britannique Phil Golding,
joueur de 48 ans, vainqueur de l’Open de France 2003
et Johann Lopez Lazaro, 22 ans, Champion du Monde amateur par équipe en titre récemment passé professionnel.
Tout deux se sont lancés dans la bataille dès le début de la partie alors
que leur troisième partenaire, Mickaël Hill, n’arrivait pas à décrocher
du Par.
Tout semblait donc ne plus pouvoir se jouer qu’entre Golding et Lopez
Lazaro mais c’était sans compter sur Benjamin Nicolay, leader du premier tour, 2ème du tournoi l’an dernier, qui enchaine 3 birdies sur les
trous 3, 4 et 5 pour venir se relancer à leur trousse.

t started promisingly when in the opening game 48 year old Phil Golding,
winner of the 2003 French Open, faced Johann Lopez Lazaro, 22, current
world amateur team champion who recently turned professional. Both engaged in fierce and spectacular battle from the start whilst their third partner,
Mickaël Hill, couldn’t achieve par. It looked like all would be decided between
Golding and Lopez Lazaro, but that was before Benjamin Nicolay stepped in.
The leader of the first round, second in last year’s tournament, achieved three
birdies in a row on holes 3, 4 and 5, closing on their heels...
The suspense was enormous, impossible to know who would win the day :
Golding, who was ahead, conceded a bogey on hole number 11, allowing
Lopez Lazaro to take the lead through a birdie on the next hole.
On hole number 15, their luck changed : bogey for Johann, birdie for Phil and

Pendant ce temps, Benjamin Nicolay, toujours présent, termine son parcours en -3 pour un cumul total de -10, se posant là en possible candidat pour un play-off.
Once more, the 17th proved to be the hole of judgement : a new bogey for

strokes away from Golding. Both achieving birdies on the last hole, the victory
went to the British player who, with a total score of 12 under par won his third

enouant avec la victoire après 8 années de vaches maigres,
Philip Golding vient de remporter l’édition 2011 de l’Open International de Paris sur le parcours du Lys Chantilly.
Avec un score de -12, le britannique ajoute ainsi un nouveau titre à son
palmarès alors qu’il n’avait plus gagné de tournois depuis sa victoire
à l’Open de France en 2003.
Depuis février dernier, Philip Golding a choisi de s’entrainer avec Stéphane
Bachoz, co-fondateur de la méthode Triangulaid et les résultats sont au
rendez-vous : un premier titre pour cette union franco-britannique prometteuse !
Une rencontre constructive
Philip Golding rencontre Stéphane Bachoz en octobre 2010, lors du Pro-Am
«Les drives de St Tropez».
Leurs échanges sur le golf en général, sur la technique et sur son «incomparable» façon de coacher, basée sur la méthode Triangulaid, convainquent
Philip Golding de travailler avec Stéphane Bachoz.
«Ce qu’il disait avait beaucoup de sens, donc nous sommes restés en
contact et sommes partis nous entrainer sur les golf de Marrakech»
évoque Philip Golding.
L’objectif était bien sûr de travailler le swing, comme un Geste plus Naturel,
pour gagner en rythme et en équilibre et donc obtenir plus de consistance
dans la frappe de balle, mais aussi d’optimiser le petit jeu… «le business»,
pour gagner à nouveau.
Depuis février dernier, le team Golding/Bachoz a donc révisé ses gammes.
Après 3 cuts manqués depuis le début de la saison, au Kenya Open,
au Allianz Challenge de France à Disneyland Paris et en Toscane
(2eme à -4 après le 1er Tour…), le coaching de Stéphane Bachoz se
révèle payant : Philip Golding remporte l’Open International de Paris,
ce dimanche 22 mai, après un dernier tour très disputé.
Triangulaid : une méthode « révolutionnaire » et efficace
Co-fondée il y a 20 ans par Bill Owens et Stéphane Bachoz, la méthode
Triangulaid est une approche du golf originale. Par sa diversité pédagogique, elle donne les moyens aux joueurs et joueuses de trouver leur propre
«Geste Naturel». Si cette méthode présente des résultats spectaculaires
pour les débutants, elle a également fait ses preuves au plus au niveau :
accompagnement des amateurs vers le statut Pro et coaching de golfeurs professionnels.
Pour preuve : ces trois dernières années, 5 élèves formés et entrainés
selon la méthode Triangulaid sont devenus des enseignants Pros PGA, sans
omettre bien sûr la récente victoire de Philip Golding.

La méthode Triangulaid divise le jeu de golf en 3 compartiments :
- Le «sport» tous les coups qui sont physiquement engagés, du fer 4 au Driver
- Le «jeu», tous les pleins coups «naturels» qui ne nécessitent pas d’enjeu
physique, pour vous faire swinguer «comme vous marchez», du fer 5 au PW
- Le «business», tous les petits coups et le putting, qui nécessitent technique
et discipline.
«Cette méthode vise à mettre en place un Geste Naturel qui utilise les
mêmes paramètres que la marche.»
Chaque individu étant unique, son swing est unique. Les élèves formés selon la méthode Triangulaid adoptent un geste qui leur est propre, le coordonnent sur le rythme de leur marche et découvrent comment toucher
une belle balle sans effort physique.
La méthode Triangulaid est tout autant philosophique que technique.
Basée sur des messages pédagogiques précis et facilement assimilables,
elle permet de progresser, quelque soit son niveau de jeu, dans le respect

A propos de Stéphane Bachoz
Membre de la PGA France et co-fondateur de la méthode Triangulaid.
Passionné par le golf, il décide à 33 ans, de quitter son poste de directeur
du développement de Bistrot Romain pour se lancer dans l’aventure
Triangulaid. Grâce à cette méthode, il progresse de handicap 4 à -1.
Depuis 1995, il prend en charge, aux cotés de Bill Owens, la diffusion de
la méthode Triangulaid au niveau national et international et formes des
golfeurs, du débutant au professionnel.

With a score of -12, the British player adds a new title to his list which hasn’t been the
case since his victory in 2003 at the Open de France.
Since last February, Philip Golding chose to train with Stéphane Bachoz, co-founder

walking.

Triangulaid: A «revolutionary» and effective method
Co-founded 20 years ago by Bill Owens and Stéphane Bachoz, the Triangulaid
method takes a very original approach to golf. Thanks to its pedagogical diversity,
it offers the opportunity for players to find their own natural gestures. Not only have
the results been spectacular for beginners but also in the accompanying of amateurs to Pro and in the coaching of professional golfers.
Since 1995, alongside Bill Owens, he takes charge of promoting the Triangulaid
