Ce centre d'investigation clinique est constituée d'une unité de soutien
logistique et méthodologique de la recherche clinique et d'une unité
d'hospitalisation (4 lits d'investigation).
Une UF biothérapie a été labellisée en 2006 sous la responsabilité du Pr
Louis Buscail et assure l'accompagnement des projets dans cette
thématique.
Objectif scientifique
Adapté sur le plan pratique et réglementaire pour concevoir et réaliser des études de recherche clinique, le centre d’investigation clinique
(CIC) est une structure ayant pour rôles :
• l’aide et le conseil à la conception des projets de recherche, l’aide aux démarches réglementaires
• la réalisation pratique du projet : recrutement de patients et de volontaires sains, réalisation des explorations au titre de la recherche
• l’aide à l’analyse des données et la publication des résultats.
Les principaux axes de recherche sont les pathologies neurologiques (maladie de Parkinson, d’Alzheimer, sclérose en plaques), le
métabolisme, la nutrition et l’obésité, les pathologies cardiovasculaires, l’imagerie fonctionnelle, la pédiatrie mais aussi d’autres thématiques
telles que , la néphrologie, l’ophtalmologie, la génétique, etc.
Une UF biothérapie labellisée en 2006 assure l'accompagnement des projets dans cette thématique.

Scientific objective
Adapted from a practical and regulatory perspective to design and conduct clinical research studies, the clinical research centre (CIC)
performs several roles:
• To support and advise on the design of research studies; to advise on the regulatory process
• To take practical steps to carry out the project: recruitment of healthy and volunteers patients, conduct research investigations
• To support data analysis and the publication of results.
The main areas of research are neurological pathologies (Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis), the metabolism,
nutrition and obesity, vascular pathologies (cardiovascular risk factors, haemostasis), functional imaging, and other subjects, including
paediatrics, nephrology, ophthalmology, genetics, etc.
