Performers for the entire concert:
A concert presented live on 2 September 2016 by France Musique from the La Villette Jazz
Festival, marking the 30th anniversary of the Orchestre National de Jazz.
The evening is in two parts :
1. The current leader, Olivier Benoit, with current members of the ONJ, presents his second
orchestral suite: 'Europa Berlin'.
2. "1986 > 2016 - ONJ 30 ans !" - Ten ‘chefs d’orchestre’ (the nine past leaders of the ONJ
and Olivier Benoit – the incumbent) will each in turn take the helm to conduct one of their
own compositions. Joined by guests Élise Caron and Yael Naim on vocals.
