MA FAMILLE ET MES CÉLÈBRES PROJET
STUDENTS’ ROLE: Designer/Creator/Author/Writer
PURPOSE: Students will create two books, in French. One book is about family members. The other book
is about admired famous people.
PROCEDURE:
 As a first step for this project, you’re responsible for the following:
There are two (2) categories for which you will need to find one picture of each person. You are not to
exceed more than 10 pictures for each category. Each picture must between 5X7 and 81/2 X 10 in size. Each
picture must be of high quality and standard.

Category one : Single pictures of family members (i.e. Mon grand-père, ma grand-mère, mon père,
ma mère, mon frère, ma sœur, ma tante, mon oncle, mon cousin, ma cousine, mon chien, mon chat,
moi, etc.).

Category two: Single pictures of famous people (Presidents, Poets/Authors/Writers, Athletes, Social
Activists, Entertainers, etc.). At least five (5) of your pictures must be French or French speaking
people.
Once you have found all of your pictures, please have Dr. Johnson approve the quality and standard before
commencing your first draft. THE FIRST STEP IS DUE 12/5/14.

 As a second step for this project, you’re responsible for the following:
o Answering the following questions, in French.
o Write each of the five (5) answers underneath each picture, in paragraph form, as shown in
the example below (Zinédine Zidane).

 As the third step for this project, you’re responsible for the following:
o Making sure your DRAFT has met all the requirements, in steps 1 and 2 before Dr. Johnson
reviews it for a grade.
o Make sure each PARAGRAPH is underneath each picture with accurate spelling, sentences
are structured correctly, in French, and punctuation is in the correct location.
o The DRAFT is due 12/8/14
RESULTS/ CONCLUSIONS:
 As the final step for this project, you’re responsible for making sure your FINAL DRAFT is ready
for publication, which means, you will need to do the following before turning it in for a final grade:
o Type each paragraph in 12 font Times New Roman.
o Design a cover page (drawing, clear report cover, etc.).
o Create and type a table of contents in 12 font Times New Roman.
Decide how you would like to present your final product to provide the readers with a greater understanding
and be creative in your efforts. The FINAL DRAFT is due 12/10/14.
Once you have finished the above, turn in the assignment to Dr. Johnson. Any assignment turned in after
12/10/14 will lose 10 points each day.
