Objet : Modifications au Règles d’élection à la direction
The Leadership Election Organizing Committee (LEOC) has
adopted certain amendments to the Leadership Election
Rules, notice of which is hereby given. In particular:

Decisions by written communication
Le Comité organisateur d’élection à la direction (COED) a
adopté certaines modifications aux Règles d’élection à la
direction, dont l’avis est ci-donné. En particulier :

Section 21.1 is adopted.

Alternate Agents and Representatives
L’article 21.1 est adopté.

Section 72.1 and Form M are adopted. Subsection
6(1) is amended.

Section 170 is amended and Form N is adopted.
Copies of the amendments are enclosed.

21.1(1) Subject to subsection 21.1(4), a decision that the
Committee or a subcommittee may make may be
rendered by written communication provided that

Alternate Agents and Representatives
Agents et représentants suppléants
72.1(1) Each of the official agent of a contestant and the
official representative of a contestant may appoint an
alternate for the purpose of attending or participating
in a meeting or event on behalf of the official agent
or the official representative, as the case may be, by
filing with the Convention Coordinator at the offices
of the Party a notice of appointment, using Form M,
signed by the official agent or the official
representative, as the case may be.
72.1(1) Chacun de l’agent officiel d’un candidat à la direction

The following definitions apply in these Rules, unless
the context requires otherwise.

“official agent” means the official agent of a
contestant appointed under section 59 and includes
an alternate appointed under subsection 72.1(1).
