MIXING
ARM
The mixing arm has a frame structure supporting two half shells,
which form the mixing tube. These
are split lengthways and are hinged
at a single point behind the sand inlet. This opening arrangement
gives easy access to the mixing
shaft and blades for maintenance
and cleaning. The mixing tube
may be fitted with a removable
wear lining (optional). It has a
mixer shaft with removable/interchangeable forged steel blades
with tungsten carbide plates on
every wear face.
THE
ARM
In the mixers fitted with an articulated arm, the first arm consists of
a structure which has a high speed
transport belt. This enables the type
of sand being fed, to be changed
rapidly.
Pneumatically controlled sand
gates enable the sand supply to
be controlled accurately. The system enables accurate feeding with
different sands, or of single sands,
or gives different sand feed rates,
by simply pressing a control button.

on the discharge port of the mixer.
This stays closed for the first few
seconds of the mixing cycle; and
guarantees that the first sand discharged is properly mixed and suitable for moulding.

The binders are continuously circulated
by the pumping system. A solenoid
valve arrangement
enables the fluids to
be sent either back
to the holding tank
or to the injector
nozzles.
The injectors have been designed
with an air injection assist which
guarantees an excellent degree of
atomisation of the binder fluids
and keeps the injectors clean.
The metering pumps enable the
feed rates to be varied according to
the chemical system being used.
They are controlled by individual
variators or inverters, according to
the application. They guarantee
the required metering precision
and assure repeatable results.

Mischerwelle im Leerlauf werden
auch die Pumpen in Betrieb gesetzt. Wenn kein Sand gemischt
wird, laufen die Flüssigkeiten durch
ein pneumatisch betätigtes Dreiwegventil in die Behälter zurück.
Wenn Sand gemischt wird, stellt
das Dreiwegventil um und die Flüssigkeiten werden in den Mischertrog eingespritzt und dabei durch
Druckluft vernebelt, was eine bessere Vermischung und das Ausblasen des Düsen gewährleistet.
Als Dosierpumpen werden je nach
Art der Flüssigkeiten Zahnradkolben- oder auch andere Pumpeneingesetzt.
Bei Mischern mit elektronischer
Programmvorwahl können die
Pumpen auf Knopfdruck auf die
voreingestellten Werte gebracht
werden. Dabei sind mehrere SandProgramme möglich.
Bei Mischern ohne Programmvorwahl lassen sich die Pumpen über
von Hand verstellbare Variatoren
einstellen.

Is contained in a sealed case which
provides IEC Standard IP 55 grade
protection. It can be supplied for
separate mounting, or for mounting
on the mixer, according to the type
of mixer ordered.
On multi-programme machines the
automation is controlled by a PLC.
The electrical board has a display
panel for alarms; and controls which
enable different working parameters to be set. Each mixer is also fitted with push button controls for
the main functions.

The T36/3, T36/3S, T36/6E and
T36/8EL mixers deliver 3, 6 and 8
tonnes/hour respectively and are
suitable for the production of cores
and small moulds.
Cleaning is easy as the case can be
completely removed, leaving the
mixer shaft totally exposed.
The pumps are controlled by the
shaft drive system and this assures
both operating and maintenance
savings. The
pump metering precision is
guaranteed by
a specific variator for each
pump.
These mixers
can be supplied in any
one of several
arrangements
according to
the required
application/process.
There is also an articulated arm version, with
a screw feed incorporated in the first section.

VERTICAUX
For the production of cores and
small moulds. Their compact form
and low delivery rate make them
ideal for use with special sands.
All the operations take place in a
mixing head fed with one or more
types of sand. The mixing head
consists of two half shells made
of abrasion resistant material and a
vertical high speed mixing shaft, fitted with plastic blades. Cleaning
and maintenance are extremely
easy, as the two half shells open
completely.
The separate electrical board houses the metering pump. The capacity is 1,5 t/h.

et leur capacité réduite les rendent
parfaits pour le mélange de sables

Leur principale caractéristique est
leur tête verticale alimentée par

composée de deux demi-coquilles

plastique qui tourne à haute vitesse. Le nettoyage et l'entretien sont simplifiés
grâce à l'ouverture de
la tête en deux parties.
Leur armoire d’automatisme séparée contient

Les mélangeurs T36/3, T36/3S,
T36/6E et T36/8EL ayant respectivement des capacités de 3, 6 et 8
t/h sont indiqués pour la production de noyaux ou de petites
mottes.
La possibilité d'ouvrir la cuve complètement en ôtant les deux demicoquilles et laissant ainsi la vis complètement libre facilite le nettoyage.
Les pompes sont commandées par
le système de rotation de la vis de
mélange, ce qui
permet de substantielles économies sur les prix
et l'entretien.
L’utilisation d’un
variateur spécial
garantit une excellente précision du dosage des
pompes.
En plus d'une version à bras articulés avec premier bras à vis, différentes configurations sont possibles selon l'application ou le procédé désirés.

Dosiermenge der Pumpen eingestellt.
Diese Mischer sind auch mit einem
zweiten-meist langen-Arm mit
Transportschnecke für den zu mischenden Sand lieferbar.

Dieser Mischertyp ist für die Herstellung von Kernen und kleinen
Formen geeignet.
Es können auch kleine Sandmengen gemischt werden, also auch für
spezielle Sande sehr geeignet.
Der Mischer ist aufgehängt und es
können 1-3 Sandsorten über flexible Schläuche zugeleitet werden.
Das Mischergehäuse besteht aus
zwei Hälften, welche hinten an
Scharnieren befestigt sind und sich
weit öffnen lassen. Die Mischerwelle ist vertikal und mit Kunststoff-Schaufeln bestückt. Zusätzlich sind noch Leitschaufeln aus
Stahl vorhanden.
Die Dosierpumpen, wie auch die
Schalter sind in einem separaten
Schrank untergebracht. Die Betätigungs-Schaltknöpfe sind an Trägern am Mischer selbst befestigt.

Any IMF series T36/S mixer, in the
production range from 10 to 60
tonnes/hour, can be mounted on a
mobile carriage, a monorail or normal rails, for mould production at
floor level or in a pit. All the mixer
accessories are mounted on board:
sand silos, binder tanks, air compressor, cyclone, bag filters and
electrical board. Safety is guaranteed by devices fitted to both ends
of the carriage. These stop car
movements immediately if there is
any contact with an obstacle. The
sand can be loaded either by gravity or by a pneumatic
transport system.
The machine frame is
extremely rigid. This,
and the dimensions of
the machine parts,
make these machines
very reliable in service.
