Type d’étude Cet essai de phase 3 est mené dans plusieurs centres (voir liste) pour comparer les résultats obtenus entre 2 groupes parallèles de patients répartis par tirage au sort (ce qu’on appelle communément une étude multicentrique randomisée). Un groupe est traité par le pomalidomide associé à la dexaméthasone à faible dose, le second par la dexaméthasone à forte dose. Dans cette étude, pour 2 patients inclus dans le groupe pomalidomide, un seul est inclus dans le groupe contrôle.
