Thesis of habilitation entitled: "GdIII and EuII complexes in medical magnetic resonance imaging. Mechanism and development" PhD (summa cum laude). EXPERTISE DOMAINS • Competences Physicochemical characterization of paramagnetic metal complexes as potential contrast agents in Magnetic Resonance Imaging . Multinuclear NMR, EPR, relaxivity studies, classical analytical and electrochemical techniques. Coordination chemistry of polyamino-carboxylates. Thermodynamic stability and kinetic studies of lanthanide complexes. Rotational dynamics of macromolecules. Development of high efficiency and responsive MRI contrast agents. • Publications Author of 84 scientific publications in internationally renowned journals (over 1000 independent citations), four book chapters and two patents . Co-editor of the book “The Chemistry of Contrast Agents in Medical Magnetic Resonance Imaging”, published by Wiley & Sons, 2001.
