The „Biz Box” Recycling Program is available to small businesses for an annual
service fee of $59 (adjusted yearly according to a cost index). The program
provides small businesses with weekly curbside recycling collection similar to the
residential blue box collection program. The business must be located on a
residential recycling collection route.
The program is limited to three (3) yellow boxes for $15 or one (1) big yellow with a
lid for $30.50. The collector no longer has to sort the recyclables in the recycling
truck. This means all recyclables can be mixed in the yellow container.

If you‟re interested in the program, please complete the attached “Biz Box”
application form and fax it to 705-671-1148 or e-mail it to
[email protected].
ii) The form will be reviewed to determine if the business is located on a
residential collection route.
a)
If approved, the business owner will be notified and must sign the
terms of service which must be submitted along with the nonrefundable annual fee and payment for the container(s). Upon
receiving the payment, the City will provide the business owner the
container(s) at the Environmental Services Division office located at
200 Larch Street in Sudbury.
b)
If not approved, the business owner will be notified and encouraged
to contact private recycling companies (listed in the Yellow Pages
under Recycling) or to deliver source-separated recyclables (without
garbage) at no charge to the Recycling Centre, to the recycling
depots located within each landfill and waste diversion site or to the
Walden small vehicle transfer site.
