Thématique principale de recherche :
Notre principale thématique de recherche a trait à la détermination des mécanismes
physiopathologiques impliqués dans la toxicité pulmonaire liée à l’inhalation des polluants
atmosphériques particulaires et nanoparticulaires, et ce au travers d’approches expérimentales
in vitro et in vivo, et chez l’homme. En plus des mécanismes physiopathologiques déjà étudiés
(e.g. stress oxydant, inflammation, génotoxicité, remodelage tissulaire), une attention
particulière a plus récemment été portée à l’épigénétisme et à son rôle dans la régulation de
certaines des voies de signalisation décrites dans la cancérogénèse pulmonaire.
