Comment aménager durablement les places aéroportuaires pour assurer un développement
économique sur le long terme au profit des territoires et des populations ? Comment mieux
coordonner le développement urbain et économique sur le territoire aéroportuaire ? Comment
mieux aménager et planifier les nouvelles zones économiques qui s’y développent et créer des
externalités économiques, sociales et environnementales positives sur le territoire ?
How to plan airport areas sustainably to ensure long-term economic development that benefits
the territories and populations? How to best coordinate urban and economic development on the

WORKSHOP 2:
Economic opportunities in airport areas: new economic sectors and attractiveness
factors
Quelles sont les filières économiques qui se développent dans les places aéroportuaires et
en particulier celles liées à la connectivité ? Quelles sont les entreprises qui choisissent de
s’implanter au sein des territoires aéroportuaires ? Comment ces places aéroportuaires
peuvent-elles agir pour accroître leur attractivité auprès de ces entreprises, de ces filières et
en tirer parti ? Comment constituer un environnement favorable à la croissance des
entreprises et à la création d’emplois locale ?
Which economic sectors are developed in airport areas and how are they linked to the
connectivity of airport areas? Which enterprises choose to locate in airport territories? How
can airport areas take action to increase their attractiveness for these enterprises and
sectors, and benefit from them? How to build a favorable environment for the creation of
local employment?

Durant cette visite guidée du Grand Roissy en bus, les participants pourront découvrir les grands projets
du territoire : sites existants, zones de redéveloppement et nouveaux projets. La visite se concentrera en
particulier sur l’intégration de solutions durables et innovantes à l’échelle des sites et projets, et se
terminera par une visite exceptionnelle d’Aéroville, un centre commercial « nouvelle génération » qui
aura ouvert quelques jours avant.
During this guided tour by bus, the participants will discover the highlights of the Greater Roissy area,
and its successful mix between existing sites, requalification areas and new developments.
The tour will especially focus on sustainable development solutions developed at the scale of the sites and
the projects, and will end up with an exceptional visit of Aéroville, a “new generation” shopping mall
center opened only a few days before.
