LE LABEL ISR FNG
LE MILLÉSIME 2017 MONTRE LES PREMIERS IMPACTS POSITIFS
DU LABEL SUR LES FONDS D’INVESTISSEMENT RESPONSABLE
Paris / Berlin, le 23 novembre 2016. Le label FNG a un impact positif sur les fonds d’investissement
responsables. C’est ce que montre la deuxième édition de ce label attribué, pour 2017, à 38 fonds
communs de placement (35 en 2016) distribués en Europe germanophone. Parmi eux, 7 fonds reçoivent
le label d’excellence avec trois étoiles (contre 3 en 2016), 21 se voient attribuer 2 étoiles (14 en 2016) et
10 fonds n’obtiennent qu’une étoile (5 de moins par rapport à 2016). Concernant la répartition
géographique, 10 fonds sont gérés en Allemagne, 16 viennent d’Autriche, 7 de Suisse, 4 des Pays-Bas et 1
fonds vient d’Italie.
Un an après son lancement, le label ISR de FNG porte ses fruits. Il répond à son objectif principal : inciter
les acteurs de l’investissement responsable à mettre en œuvre des processus de gestion plus exigeants
pour améliorer la qualité des produits financiers distribués sur ce marché. Ainsi, le système d’évaluation du
Label aboutit cette année à une moyenne de 57% des points contre 48% seulement l’année dernière. De
gros progrès ont notamment été observés sur la qualité et la transparence des pratiques de reporting. Par
ailleurs, les plus petites sociétés de gestion initient des démarches collaboratives pour améliorer leur
exercice des droits de vote et augmenter l’impact de leurs actions d’engagement.
Les résultats démontrent également des démarches en progrès concernant la lutte contre le changement
climatique. Les actions, mises en œuvre par 14 des 17 sociétés de gestion labellisées, vont de l’exclusion ou
la limitation des investissements dans l’industrie du charbon aux investissements verts, par exemple par le
biais d’obligations vertes (green bonds). Pour analyser leur qualité, le label s’appuie sur la taxonomie
reconnue de la Climate Bond Initiative. Enfin, 16 des 38 fonds labellisés font à présent l’objet d’une mesure
de leur empreinte carbone.
Le Label FNG a été lancé en 2015 suite à une phase de développement approfondie et est attribué pour
une année. Les résultats obtenus par les fonds dans le cadre du Label 2017 sont présentés dans un Rapport
d’impact. La liste des fonds labellisés est présentée à la fin de ce communiqué.

labellisés, le label démontre la forte adhésion des acteurs à la démarche.”

Informations sur le Label FNG et ses parties prenantes
The FNG Label gives the German-speaking countries a quality standard for sustainable mutual funds. The Label’s minimum requirements
consist of transparency and process criteria, the exclusion of weapons and nuclear power and the inclusion of provision for the four areas of
the UN Global Compact: human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. Building on these, the multi-grade model gives funds the
opportunity to score additional points in the areas of product standards, institutional credibility, selection and dialogue. The auditor of the
FNG Label is the French research centre Novethic. The inspection process is also being monitored by an independent advisory committee of
experts from a variety of disciplines. Furthermore, the FNG Label was highlighted as “very recommendable” by the consumer web portal

FNG (Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen e.V.) is the industry association for sustainable investment in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and

The FNG Label Committee is a key element of the organisational model. It comprises various stakeholders from the sustainable investment
field, such as institutional and retail investors and representatives from NGOs, industry associations and the academic world. The three FNG
countries, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, are also represented on the committee. It has an advisory role, and its independent expertise
underpins the Label concept and contribute to its development. The Committee’s tasks include, amongst other things, dealing with complaints
