Hygiene and cleanliness in the bathroom with new easy to
clean glass
Glass that remains cleaner for longer and is easier to clean is
now a reality with the SGG IDEALCLEAN® coating from Saint
Gobain Glass.
SGG IDEALCLEAN glass has a hydrophobic (water-repellent)
coating which is invisible to the naked eye. When water makes
contact with the surface of the SGG IDEALCLEAN coating, the
droplets merge together and tiny beads of water form and run
straight off the glass surface. Any left over residue can also be
more easily cleaned away.
AN INNOVATION
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there were a glass for showers and
screens which kept itself almost perfectly clean, with-out leaving
any lasting watermarks!
HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS
Saint-Gobain Glass has undergone independent tests for this
product and is the first to achieve certification for the
hydrophobic qualities of the glass from the German TUV.
Hygiene in the bathroom is of course a very important issue.
We’re all used to seeing the usual watermarks on the surface of
the glass showers and screens. They contain minute lime
particles from within our water systems and combine with soaps
and detergents we use in the shower to form unsightly marks
and smears.

The benefits of the
....water droplets run off the glass more easily due to the
hydrophobic (water-repellent) characteristics of the coating
...the surface of the glass is therefore more hygienic due to
reduced dirt and lime deposits
Whilst the surface of your glass shower and screen looks
perfectly smooth to the human eye, when observed under a
microscope it resembles more of a cratered landscape. So, when
water evaporates and dries from this surface it leaves behind
persistant stains which can only be removed with frequent and
intensive cleaning and we all have better things to do with our
time.

Cleaning Instructions
The SGG IDEALCLEAN coating is easier to clean - the glass does
not need to be cleaned as frequently but it does require
occasional maintenance.
AN INNOVATION
Thank you for choosing an SGG IDEALCLEAN® glass product. In
order that you enjoy this product throughout its lifetime, we must
draw your attention to the following characteristics and care
instructions for SGG IDEALCLEAN glass.
As less cleaning is required the use of detergents can be
minimised thus helping to protect the environment.
The lifespan of the SGG IDEALCLEAN coating is dependent on the
frequency of use of the shower and the degree of water
hardness.
The combination of alkaline materials and humidity affects glass
in an extremely aggressive way.
ENGLISH
Do not use bleach, alkaline, acid-based or aggressive and
abrasive glass cleaners, detergents or household cleaning
products.
We recommend that soft clean cloths are used to clean the
IDEALCLEAN coated glass.

Wash down with clean warm water and a soft clean cloth
or sponge.
The special coating is only present on the inside of a shower unit.
It is possible that a pearly effect will be present on the outside of
the glass shower unit during your first few uses. This will stop
after a short time.
The SGG IDEALCLEAN coating will be guaranteed for 2 years
providing that the guidelines and cleaning instructions herein are
fully respected.
IMPORTANT
It is essential that these instructions are followed in order to
maintain the hydrophobic properties of the glass coating. In the
event of failure to comply in any way with these instructions, any
warranty or guarantee will be null and void and neither SaintGobain nor Ideal-Standard will accept responsibility for any failure
of the performance of the hydrophobic performance of the
product.
Do not use bleach, alkaline or acid based, aggressive or abrasive
cleaning products.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Saint-Gobain and Ideal-Standard will also not be liable under the
terms of any warranty or guarantee for any defect whatsoever
affecting the product where this arises from fair wear and tear,
wilful damage, negligence or misuse of the product.
The SGG IDEALCLEAN coating prevents, in principle, the formation
of water drops.
The SGG IDEALCLEAN coating allows water to form minute beads
which easily trickle off the surface of the glass.
Retain this information for future use if required.

Afin que vous puissiez apprécier ce produit pendant toute sa
durée de vie, nous devons attirer votre attention sur les
caractéristiques et les instructions de soins du verre
SGG IDEALCLEAN.
La durée de vie de l'enduit SGG IDEALCLEAN dépend
de la fréquence d'utilisation de la douche et de la dureté de
l'eau.
La combinaison de matériaux alcalins et d'humidité est très
nuisible au verre. Ne pas employer d'eau de javel, de détergents
ou de produits nettoyants agressifs, alcalins ou acides.
Nous recommandons de nettoyer le verre enduit de
IDEALCLEAN avec des chiffons propres et doux.

Le verre n'est enduit que sur la face intérieure d'une cabine de
douche.
FRANÇAIS
Il est possible que la face extérieure des panneaux présente
un effet nacré lors des premières utilisations. Cet effet disparaîtra
rapidement.
Laver à l'eau tiède propre et un chiffon propre et doux
ou une éponge.
L'enduit SGG IDEALCLEAN est garanti 2 ans à condition que les
recommandations et les instructions de nettoyage présentées
dans ce livret soient complètement suivies.
IMPORTANT
Le maintien des propriétés hydrophobes de l'enduit du verre
exige l'observation de ces consignes. Leur non-respect,
quel qu'il soit, rendra les garanties nulles et non avenues et ni
Saint-Gobain ni Ideal-Standard n'accepteront de responsabilité
en cas de défaut de performance hydrophobe du produit.
Ne pas employer d'eau de javel ou de produits nettoyants
agressifs ou abrasifs, alcalins ou acides.
Saint-Gobain et Ideal-Standard ne seront pas non plus
responsables selon les termes des garanties, du défaut, quel qu'il
soit, affectant le produit dans le cas où il est causé par l'usure
normale, un dommage intentionnel, la négligence ou le mauvais

INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE
L'enduit SGG IDEALCLEAN empêche, en principe,
la formation de gouttes d'eau.
Conservez cette information pour vous y référer plus tard si
besoin est.
L'enduit SGG IDEALCLEAN permet à l'eau de former de
minuscules perles qui glissent et tombent de la surface du verre.
L'enduit SGG IDEALCLEAN est plus facile à nettoyer - le verre n'a

SGG IDEALCLEAN Beschichtung in Kontakt kommt, fließen die
Tropfen zusammen und es entstehen winzige Perlen, die einfach
vom Glas ablaufen. Eventuell verbleibende Rückstände lassen
sich ebenfalls leichter abwischen.
Ein Glas für Duschen und Trennwände, auf dem keine
Wasserflecken zurückbleiben und das sich fast von selbst reinigt.

Wir alle kennen die Wasserflecken, die sich normalerweise auf

SGG IDEALCLEAN® Glas entschieden haben. Damit Sie lange
Freude daran haben, möchten wir Ihnen etwas über die
Eigenschaften von SGG IDEALCLEAN Glas sagen und Ihnen einige
Tipps zur richtigen Pflege geben.
Die SGG IDEALCLEAN Beschichtung ist einfacher zu pflegen –
das Glas muss weniger oft gereinigt werden, ab und zu ist
jedoch eine Reinigung notwendig
Alkalische Substanzen, kombiniert mit Feuchtigkeit, können Glas
sehr stark angreifen.
Verwenden Sie deshalb keine Bleichmittel und keine aggressiven,
scheuernden, scharfen oder ätzenden Glas- oder
Haushaltsreiniger.
Wischen Sie SGG IDEALCLEAN beschichtetes Glas einfach mit
einem weichen, sauberen Tuch ab.
DEUTSCH
Die Spezialbeschichtung befindet sich nur auf der Innenseite der
Duschwand. Eventuell tritt am Anfang, wenn Sie Dusche
benutzen, an der Außenseite des Glases ein opalisierender Effekt
auf. Dieser verschwindet jedoch nach kurzer Zeit.
Wischen Sie das Glas mit einem sauberen, weichen Tuch oder
Schwamm und sauberem, warmem Wasser ab.
Die SGG IDEALCLEAN Beschichtung ist für 2 Jahre garantiert,
sofern die hierin enthaltenen Gebrauchs- und Pflegehinweise
genau befolgt werden.
WICHTIG
Damit die wasserabweisenden Eigenschaften der
Glasbeschichtung erhalten bleiben, muss diese Anleitung genau
befolgt werden. Andernfalls erlischt jegliche Garantie und weder
Saint-Gobain noch Ideal-Standard haften in irgendeiner Weise für
ein Versagen der wasserabweisenden Beschaffenheit des
Produktes.
Die Garantie von Saint-Gobain und Ideal-Standard gilt nicht für
Defekte am Produkt, die auf normale Abnutzung, mutwillige
Beschädigung, mangelnde Sorgfalt oder unsachgemäße
Verwendung des Produktes zurückzuführen sind.
Benutzen Sie keine scharfen, ätzenden oder scheuernden
Reinigungsprodukte mit Bleichmitteln, Laugen oder Säuren.

Il vetro SGG IDEALCLEAN ha un rivestimento idrorepellente
invisibile ad occhio nudo. Quando l’acqua entra in contatto con
la superficie del rivestimento SGG IDEALCLEAN, le gocce si
uniscono in piccoli rivoli d’acqua e scorrono velocemente dalla
superficie. Un eventuale residuo quindi è molto più facile da
pulire.
Non sarebbe fantastico se esistesse un vetro per docce e
paraventi che rimanga sempre quasi perfettamente pulito senza
lasciare fastidiose tracce di acqua?
IGIENE E PULIZIA
Saint-Gobain Glass ha passato dei test indipendenti ed è il primo
prodotto ad ottenere la certificazione per la qualità idrorepellente
del vetro secondo il TUV tedesco.
L’igiene nel bagno è ovviamente un fattore molto importante. Da
sempre siamo abituati a vedere quelle fastidiose macchie di
acqua sulla superficie dei vetri del box doccia e della porta. Esse
contengono minuscole particelle di lime provenienti dai sistemi
idrici della casa che si combinano con i saponi ed i detergenti
che quotidianamente utilizziamo nella doccia che formano
spiacevoli macchie ed ombrature.

apprezzare questo prodotto nel tempo, desideriamo attirare la
vostra attenzione sulle seguenti caratteristiche e istruzioni di cura e
manutenzione dei vetri SGG IDEALCLEAN.
La combinazione di materiali alcalini e umidità attacca il vetro in
modo estremamente aggressivo.
Non utilizzare candeggina, prodotti di pulizia alcalini, a base
acida, aggressivi o abrasivi.
Si consiglia l’uso di un panno morbido per pulire il vetro rivestito
con SGG IDEALCLEAN.
Lo speciale rivestimento è presente solo sulla faccia interna del
box doccia. E’ possibile che l’esterno del box doccia presenti un
effetto perlato durante I primi utilizzi dell’unità. Questo effetto
sparirà in breve tempo.

Lavare con acqua calda ed un panno morbido e pulito o una
spugna.
Il rivestimento SGG IDEALCLEAN è garantito 2 anni a condizione
che vengano pienamente seguite le istruzioni di uso e pulizia
specificate.

per poter mantenere le proprietà idrorepellenti del rivestimento.

Il rivestimenti SGG IDEALCLEAN è più facile da pulire – il vetro non
necessita di essere pulito così frequentemente ma necessita di

Poiché richiede una minore pulizia, l’uso dei detergenti è ridotto
