Lizzi Bougatsos et Sadie Laska forment I.U.D., duo proto punk new-yorkais.
Sweeney a commencé.
Marianne Vitale.

Greetings From Bitburg
Du 07 juin au 18 août 2013
Every band that Bumpy or Muffin played in began in New York City. I used to
watch Joey Ramone walk down 10th street to go to the Japanese restaurant on
the corner. But this was after high school, when I learned how to drive to
the Ramones. When bands have spirit, they also can rag out the bad one, in
this song, it was Reagan who was Bonzo.
The art world today is back to the 80's. Let's face it, it's the men that
are buyin up the market and the women are still tryin to keep up. I.U.D
can only channel this energy thru it's filters, distorting and stealing
everything as they did with a 'Switch-blade Sisters' or 'Mixed Blood'
Mentality for their album, The Proper Sex, which is basically ripped off
Reggae and Public Enemy songs, awkwardly sounding like Meat Beat Manifesto
or Front 242. Greetings from Bitburg is a combination of music, painting,
sculpture and video- but this time roping in their Feminine nihilism and
humor into a messy percussive collaboration with Spencer Sweeney, a longtime collaborator of the girls back to the days in 1998 with the NYC band
Actress.
Live on and Rock for Light.
