REGLEMENT / REGULATIONS
Ce rallye sera disputé en conformité avec le Code Sportif International (et ses
annexes), les Prescriptions Générales applicables aux rallyes du Championnats
d'Europe des Rallyes de la FIA, le Règlement Sportif du dit Championnat
de la FIA, le Règlement Sportif National et le présent règlement particulier.
This rally will be run in compliance with the International Sporting Code (and its
appendices), the General Prescriptions applicable to the FIA European Championships
rallies, the provisions of the National Sporting Regulations which comply with the FIA
regulations and these supplementary regulations.

la demande d'engagement ci-jointe dûment complétée. Les demandes adressées par
télécopieur ne seront prises en considération que si elles sont accompagnées d'une copie d'un
mandat poste du montant des droits d'engagement ou d'un mandat télégraphique.
Si cette demande est envoyée par télécopie, l'original devra parvenir à l'organisateur une
semaine au plus tard après la clôture des engagements.
Les détails relatifs au coéquipier peuvent être complétés jusqu'aux vérications, c’est
à dire le jeudi 23 octobre 2003.
La demande d'engagement ne sera acceptée que si elle est accompagnée :
a) du montant des droits d'engagement ou d'un reçu délivré par l'Autorité
Sportive Nationale du concurrent;
b) de la photocopie de la che d’homologation de la voiture (1ère page);
c) de la photocopie de la carte grise du véhicule, ou du document correspondant
pour les étrangers, et, si nécessaire, de l’autorisation écrite du propriétaire du
véhicule;
d) d’une photo format d’identité (4X4) pour chaque membre de l’équipage
( pour les badges);
e) des photocopies des licences et des permis de conduire de chaque
membre de l'équipage.
3.3 - NOMBRE D’ENGAGEMENTS ACCEPTES ET CATEGORIES
3.3.1 Nombre maximum d'engagés : 160

Sont admises, les voitures homologuées, à la date des vérications techniques,
qui répondent aux prescriptions de l’annexe «J» du Code Sportif International
pour les :
* Voitures de Tourisme (Groupe A) y compris les World Rally Cars
* Voitures de Production (Groupe N)
L'adjonction d'un carénage de protection inférieur est autorisée.
Les voitures de Production (GROUPE N) sont réparties en 4 CLASSES de cylindrées:

: au-dessus de 1.400 cm3 et jusqu’à 1.600 cm3

3.3 3 L’utilisation de lms argentés ou fumés est autorisée sur les vitres latérales et
la vitre arrière. Les bavettes sont autorisées (voir Annexe J article 252/7.7).
L’utilisation d’un protège carter est autorisée.
3.4 - DROITS D’ENGAGEMENT

S’il est constaté que la publicité facultative ou contractuelle a été retirée pendant le déroulement
de l’épreuve, le règlement de la majoration applicable sera exigée immédiatement.
Les droits d'engagement comprennent deux adhésifs "Assistance" numérotés par concurrent,
un livre d’assistance et les tickets d’entrée pour chaque parc. Ces adhésifs devront être
obligatoirement collés sur le pare brise des véhicules admis à pénétrer dans les parcs.
Dans chaque parc ne sera autorisé qu'un seul véhicule d'assistance par concurrent.
Il devra être obligatoirement porteur de l’adhésif «Assistance» et présenter le ticket
d’entrée pour le parc concerné.
Un adhésif «Auxiliaire» plus un livre d’assistance pour les concurrents personnes morales
est à leur disposition moyennant la somme de 100 € TTC dans la limite de 4 par concurrent.
Deux véhicules «Auxiliaire» maximum seront autorisés par parc.
3.5 - PAIEMENT
Les paiements seront effectués par versement d’espéces au secrétariat du
rallye, par chèque ou virement bancaire. (Les frais de banque sont à la charge du
concurrent. Les compléments seront exigés lors des vérications administratives.)
3.6 - REMBOURSEMENTS
Les droits d’engagement seront entièrement remboursés :
3.6.1 aux candidats dont l’engagement aurait été refusé;
3.6.2 au cas où le rallye n’aurait pas lieu.
Les organisateurs rembourseront, avec déduction d'une retenue variable, les droits
d’engagement aux concurrents qui, pour des raisons de force majeure, n'auraient
pu se présenter au départ du rallye, sous réserve qu'une demande parvienne aux
organisateurs par lettre recommandée. La retenue sera de :

- 20 % pour les demandes reçues 10 jours et plus avant le rallye
- 40 % pour les demandes reçues jusqu'aux vérications.
Aucun remboursement ne sera effectué pour les concurrents non admis à l’issue des
vérications administratives ou techniques pour non conformité du véhicule ou non
présentation des documents nécessaires.
4 - ASSURANCE
4.1 -
4.2 -
Les droits d’engagement comprennent la prime d’assurance garantissant la
responsabilité civile du concurrent à l’égard des tiers. L'assurance prendra effet depuis
le moment du départ et cessera à la n du rallye ou dès le moment de l'abandon, de
l'exclusion ou de la mise hors course.
Sont assurées les garanties :
- Risque A : Personnel et matériels des services publics,
- Risque B : Responsabilité Civile de l'Organisateur à l'égard des concurrents,
- Risque C : Responsabilité Civile des concurrents entre eux,
- Risque D : Responsabilité civile du concurrent à l'égard de ses passagers et de son coéquipier.
4.3 -
Les conditions générales de la police stipuleront notamment que la garantie est
accordée jusqu'à concurrence de six millions quatre vingt dix sept mille neuf cent
soixante euros (6.097.960 €) par sinistre, en ce qui concerne les dommages corporels,
jusqu'à trois cent quatre mille huit cent quatre vingt dix huit euros (304.898 €) par
sinistre en ce qui concerne les dommages matériels.
4.4 -
En cas d'accident, le concurrent ou son représentant devra en faire la déclaration par
écrit au plus tard dans les trois jours. En cas de dépannage, dans une épreuve spéciale
ou sur le parcours de liaison, les frais restent à la charge du concurrent.
Si un pilote est impliqué dans un accident au cours duquel un membre du public
est blessé, le pilote concerné doit le signaler au prochain point radio indiqué sur le
carnet d'itinéraire et signalé sur le parcours par un panneau spécial. S’il n’observe pas
cette régle, les Commissaires Sportifs pourront imposer à l’équipage responsable une
pénalité pouvant aller jusqu’à la mise hors course. (Annexe IV FIA 2.5.)
4.5 -
Les véhicules d’assistance ou auxiliaires, même porteurs de plaques spéciques
délivrées par l’organisateur, ne peuvent en aucun cas être considérés comme participant
ofciellement à l’épreuve. Ils ne sont donc pas couverts par la police d’assurance de
celle-ci et restent sous la seule responsabilité de leur propriétaire.
5 - PUBLICITE
5.1 -
La publicité obligatoire sur les numéros de compétition sera :

La publicité sur les deux plaques de rallye 43 cm X 21,5 cm et 28 cm X 15
cm (autocollant transparent pour l'arrière) sera :

5.2 -
La publicité facultative des organisateurs gurera sur le bandeau de 10 cm de hauteur
à apposer sur toute la partie supérieure du pare brise.

5.3 -
Les concurrents devront s'assurer de la bonne apposition des publicités pendant toute
la durée du rallye. Une absence ou une mauvaise apposition d'une publicité obligatoire
ou facultative , s'il y a lieu, entrainera une pénalité de mille cinq cent euros (1.500 €)
pour le 1er constat et une pénalité de trois mille euros (3.000 €) en cas de récidive à
chaque constat supplémentaire effectué en cours de rallye, ceci en plus de la régle
prévue à l'article 6.1.2 concernant la publicité facultative.
5.4 -
Présentation de la voiture.(voir annexe 3 - page 31)
6 - NUMEROS D’IDENTIFICATION
6.1 -
PLAQUES
Les plaques de rallye devront être apposées visiblement à l’avant et à l’arrière de
la voiture pendant toute la durée du rallye. La plaque avant ne devra en aucun cas
recouvrir, même partiellement, la plaque d’immatriculation de la voiture, sous peine
d’une pénalisation en espèces de 80 €.
6.2 -
NUMEROS DE COMPETITION.
Les panneaux de compétition fournis par les organisateurs devront obligatoirement
être apposés, pendant toute la durée du rallye, sur chacune des deux portières
avant et sur le toit de la voiture.
A tout moment de l’épreuve, la constatation de :
- l’absence d’un seul panneau de compétition ou d’une seule plaque de rallye
entraînera une pénalisation en espèces de 160 € par constat.
- l’absence simultanée de deux panneaux de compétition ou plaques de
rallye entraînera l’exclusion.
6.3 -
Les noms du premier conducteur et du copilote, accompagnés de leur drapeaux
nationaux, apparaîtront soit sur les deux ailes avant, soit sur les vitres arrière
latérales de la voiture, conformément à l'article 7.2 des prescriptions Générales
Rallye 2003. Tout concurrent enfreignant cette règle sera soumis à une pénalité
en espèces de 80 €.
7 - PNEUMATIQUES
7.1 -
PNEUMATIQUES (conforme à la réglementation générale FIA 2003 Annexe V)
7.2 -
MARQUAGE DES PNEUMATIQUES
Le marquage des pneumatiques est obligatoire pour tous les concurrents.
A la sortie de chaque parc d’assistance, les quatre pneumatiques montés sur la
voiture ainsi que l’éventuel pneumatique de secours, sont marqués à l’aide d’une
encre spéciale pour l’ensemble des concurrents. La même opération de marquage est
effectuée à chaque parc avec une encre de couleur différente.
Les pneumatiques qui n’ont pas été utilisés lors des épreuves spéciales précédentes
ou qui, même s’ils ont déjà été utilisés, respecteraient le réglement, peuvent de
nouveau être marqués.
Une zone spéciquement réservée au marquage des pneus est prévue à la sortie de
la zone de ravitaillement et son entrée et sa sortie est signalée à l’aide du panneau
indiquant le marquage des pneus.

Dans le seul but d’aider lors de la procédure de marquage des pneumatiques , et
uniquement pendant que la voiture se trouve dans cette zone, un membre de l’équipe
de chaque équipage peut avoir accés à cette zone.
CONTRÔLE
A tout moment de l’épreuve, des contrôles pourront être effectuées afin de
vérier la conformité des pneumatiques.
Un pneu qui est vérifié non conforme, sera marqué à l’aide d’un tampon
spécial et ne pourra être utilisé.
Au contrôle horaire avant le départ d’une épreuve spéciale, si un commissaire techni
que constate qu’un pneumatique monté sur la voiture n’est pas conforme
en ce qui concerne la profondeur minimale, le concurrent doit, avant de prendre le
départ, le remplacer par un pneu embarqué dans sa voiture, à condition que
celui-ci soit conforme.
Le chef de poste donnera alors une nouvelle heure de départ au concurrent,
pour le départ de la dite épreuve spéciale.
Tout non-respect de la réglementation concernant les pneumatiques sera
signalée aux Commissaires sportifs qui peuvent iniger une sanction telle que
prévue aux Articles 152 et 153 du Code.
8 - CARBURANT
8.1 - PROCÉDURE RELATIVE À LA COMMANDE DE CARBURANT
Non Applicable
8.2 - DISTRIBUTION PENDANT LE RALLYE
Uniquement dans les zones de refuelling à la sortie de chaque parc
d’assistance effectué par le personnel d’assistance du concurrent sous le
contrôle des commissaires (voir reglementation générale FIA 2003).
Le taux de plomb admis dans l'essence en France est de : 0,40 gramme par litre.
9 - ESSAIS
9.1 - RESTRICTIONS AU NIVEAU NATIONAL
Aucun essai ne pourra avoir lieu, ou être organisé sur tout ou partie d'un
secteur de liaison ou d'une épreuve spéciale du Rallye (même avec des voitures de
reconnaissances).
Les reconnaissances sont réduites en durée et en nombre de passage suivant les
régles des prescriptions générales de la FIA.
10.1 - PROCEDURE D’INSCRIPTION
Le road book sera à la disposition des concurrents, régulièrement engagés,
au siège de l'Association Sportive Automobile d'Antibes-Juan les Pins, à partir
du Lundi 6 Octobre 2003. Chaque équipage disposera d'un exemplaire gratuit
qui pourra lui être expédié contre la somme de 20 € TTC de frais d'expédition.
Des exemplaires supplémentaires seront disponibles contre paiement de la
somme de 80 € TTC (plus frais d'expédition) par exemplaire. Un autocollant
portant le numéro attribué au concurrent pour les reconnaissances lui sera remis.
Cet autocollant devra être obligatoirement apposé sur le véhicule de
reconnaissance

10.2 - PROGRAMME
La durée des reconnaissances est au maximum de quatre jours.
Reconnaissances autorisées impérative les jours suivants :
Lundi 20 Octobre 2003
Mardi 21 Octobre 2003
Horaires reconnaissances interdites: de 12h00 à 14h00
de 21h00 à 8h00
Il est bien précisé que les reconnaissances ne doivent, en aucune façon, être assimilées
à des essais et que le Code de la Route doit être absolument respecté. Des contrôles
seront effectués aussi bien avant qu’après la remise du road book.
Le nombre de passage de chaque pilote dans une même ES ne doit pas
être supérieur à 4 (quatre).
10.3 - RESTRICTIONS PARTICULIERES ET NATIONALES
10.3.1 VOITURES DE RECONNAISSANCES
Toutes les reconnaissances, pour l'ensemble des équipages, ne pourront être
effectuées qu'avec des voitures de série répondant aux spécications dénies
à l'article 14.3 des Prescriptions Générales Rallyes 2003 de la FIA.

Voitures de reconnaissances
14.3.1 Voiture de série
14.3.2 Elle devra être d’une seule couleur, sans publicité ni autocollant, etc.
14.3.3 Le moteur sera de série (conforme à la réglementation Groupe N)
14.3.4 La boite de vitesse sera de série (conforme à la réglementation
Groupe N)
14.3.5 L’échappement sera de série et son niveau sonore restera en
deçà des maxima tolérés par la législation du pays organisateur.
14.3.6 Les suspensions seront conformes au réglement Groupe N.
14.3.7 Les protections du dessous de caisse seront autorisées
(conformes à la réglementation du Groupe N)
14.3.8 Le montage d’un arceau de sécurité en acier conforme à l’Annexe
J (Article 253-8.1 à 8.4) sera autorisé.
14.3.9 Les harnais de sécurité de couleurs similaires à celles de
l’intérieur de la voiture seront autorisés.
14.3.10 Les sièges baquets de couleurs similaires à celles de l’intérieur
seront autorisés.
14.3.11 Deux phares supplémentaires homologués route seront autorisés.
14.3.12 Les jantes seront libres dans le respect de l’Annexe J Groupe
N. Elles seront équipées de :
14.3.13 Pneus de série homologués route pour asphalte.
14.3.14 Pneus libres pour la terre.
14.3.15 L’équipage pourra utiliser un système d’intercommunication
«léger» (sans casque).
10.3.2 SANCTIONS
Tout équipage enfreignant la réglementation sur les reconnaissances se
verra iniger, par les Commissaires Sportifs, d’après l’Article 152 du CSI,
les sanctions suivantes :

- che de reconnaissance non à bord du véhicule et non rendue lors des
vérications administratives
1ère infraction : de 1 à 3’ de pénalités et/ou 160 euros d’amende
2ème infraction : départ refusé et 320 euros d’amende
10.3.2.2 Sanctions concernant ;
- présence sur le parcours en dehors des jours prévus au réglement
- présence sur le parcours en dehors des heures prévues au réglement
- nombre de passages supérieurs à 4.

2ème infraction : départ refusé et 320 euros d’amende
Les deux derniers points (infraction au Code de la Route et vitesse excessive) ne
seront jugés qu’avec un rapport de gendarmerie ou d’une personne assermentée
( Maire, police nationale ou municipale) et chaque dossier sera transmis aux
commissions de discipline de la FIA et de la FFSA.
10.4 - INSTALLATION DES SYSTEMES DE CONTROLE DE VITESSE

11 - VERIFICATIONS ADMINISTRATIVES
11.1 - EMPLACEMENT

Les équipages se présentant en retard aux vérifications pendant
le temps officiel des vérifications se verront infliger les amendes

Le départ sera refusé à tout équipage qui se présenterait aux vérications au-delà
des limites prévues par le réglement particulier du rallye, sauf cas de force majeure
accepté par les commissaires sportifs.
11.3 - DOCUMENTS A PRESENTER

Par système de compte à rebours électronique syncronisé à systéme de
feu de départ
Ce système de compte à rebours électronique, effectuant le compte à rebours par
seconde est clairement visible par l’équipage depuis sa position de départ.
(La partie supérieure du feu afche l’heure du jour en permanence sous la forme
140538. Les 30 dernères secondes avant le départ sont décomptées dans la
partie basse du feu. Un point rouge de décompte nal s’allume successivement lors
des dernières secondes avant le départ.
Une seconde avant le départ, le décompte indique «01» avec 5 points rouges
au-dessus. A la minute pleine, les 5 points rouges s’éteignent et le décompte
nal indique »00»)
Ce système sera couplé électroniquement à un dispositif de détection de ligne de
départ qui est à 40 cm de la ligne de départ et qui enregistre toute situation dans
laquelle une voiture quitte la ligne de départ avant le signal correct.

15.7 - En cas d'abandon dans un secteur de liaison, les concurrents ont l'obligation
de prévenir le plus rapidement possible la Direction de Course en utilisant
le numéro de téléphone indiqué sur la note d'information qui leur a été remise
au moment des vérications. Toute infraction sera soumise aux Commissaires
Sportifs qui détermineront la sanction à appliquer.
15.8 - CARNET D’INFRACTION
Au départ du Rallye, chaque équipage recevra un carnet des infractions sur lequel
seront portées, par les Agents ou Fonctionnaires de Police et de Gendarmerie, les
infractions aux régles de la circulation qui seraient constatées. Ce carnet devra
obligatoirement être restitué en n de Rallye avec le carnet de bord sous peine
de mise hors course de l'équipage. En cas d'abandon, la restitution de ce carnet
est également obligatoire.
Pendant toute la durée du rallye, les équipages devront se conformer aux prescriptions
réglementant la circulation en France. Tout équipage qui ne se conformera pas à ces
prescriptions, se verra iniger les pénalités prévues ci-dessous :
- 1ère infraction

une pénalité en temps de 5 mn

15.9 - Les pirouettes et gures diverses (des voitures) sont interdites dans les parcs fermés.

Les heures de départ des pilotes de priorité N (N étant le nombre
invariable des pilotes prioritaires au départ du rallye) sont espacées d’au moins
2 minutes pour la première étape. Pour les étapes suivantes, les premiers
équipages N + 5 classés à la n de l’étape précèdente prennent également
le départ de l’étape suivante à des intervalles de 2 minutes minimum. Les
commissaires sportifs peuvent repositionner à leur propre discrétion les pilotes
prioritaires de la FIA encore dans le rallye.

Générales des Rallyes de la FIA 2003 seront applicables, ainsi que l’Article 5 du
Réglement du Championnat d’Europe 2003.
La bonne observation de ces prescriptions sera vériée par les ofciels du rallye
et toute infraction sera soumise aux Commissaires Sportifs qui détermineront
la sanction à appliquer.
16.3.3 Les adhésifs «ASSISTANCE» ou «AUXILIAIRE» devront être obligatoirement
collés sur le pare brise des véhicules admis à pénétrer dans les parcs. Dans
chaque parc ne sera autorisé qu'un seul véhicule d'assistance par concurrent et
deux véhicules auxiliaires maximum pour les concurrents personnes morales.
Ils devront être obligatoirement porteur des adhésifs «ASSISTANCE» ou
«AUXILIAIRE» et présenter le ticket d’entrée pour le parc concerné.

20.3.1 Un classement "Ecuries Etrangères" sera publié en tenant compte des
écuries étrangères ayant au minimum 3 équipages au départ et dont le
nom de l’écurie est régulièrement mentionné sur la feuille d’engagement et
reporté sur la liste des partants.
Ce classement s’effectuera par l’addition des temps des 2 équipages
les mieux classés. Les écuries comportant moins de deux équipages à
l’arrivée ne seront pas classées.
20.3.2 Un classement "Promotion" sera publié. Ce classement sera réservé
aux 1ers conducteurs engagés comme concurrents licenciés F.F.S.A. ne
gurants pas sur une liste prioritaire "Rallye F.F.S.A" de l’année en cours
ou de l’année précédente.
Seuls les véhicules des classes N1, N2, N3, A5, A6 qui ne sont pas la propriété
d'un constructeur ou d'un importateur, seront admis.

21 - RECLAMATION - APPELS
21.1 - DROITS DE RECLAMATION
Montant du droit de réclamation xé par la F.F.S.A. :

Si la réclamation nécessite le démontage et remontage de différentes parties d’une
voiture, le réclamant devra en outre verser un dépôt de garantie :
21.1.1 Pour une réclamation n'intéressant qu'une partie déterminée du véhicule
(moteur, transmission, direction, système de freinage, installation électrique, carrosserie,
etc.) :

21.1.2 Pour une réclamation intéressant l'ensemble du véhicule :

21.1.3 Les frais occasionnés par les travaux et par le transport du véhicule seront à la
charge du réclamant si la réclamation n’est pas justiée, et à la charge du concurrent
visé par la réclamation dans le cas contraire.
21.1.4 Si la réclamation n’est pas justiée, et si les frais occasionnés par la réclamation
(vérication, transport, etc.) sont supérieurs au dépôt de garantie, la différence sera à
la charge du réclamant. Par contre, s’ils sont inférieurs, la différence lui sera restituée.

Sportifs an de se tenir informé de toutes les décisions prises.
Le chargé des relations avec les concurrents doit être rapidement identiable
par les participants. Pour ce faire, il convient :
1) Qu’il porte un badge très apparent,
2) Qu’il soit présenté aux concurrents lors du breeng des pilotes,
3)Que sa photographie soit incluse dans le réglement particulier ou
dans un additif lorsque cela est possible.

PRESENCE LORS DU DEROULEMENT DU RALLYE
A l’ouverture du secrétariat il/elle doit faire établir par le/la secrétaire du meeting
un planning de ses permanences qui sera afché au tableau du rally et qui
comportera obligatoirement :
- Présence aux vérications techniques
- Au secrétariat du Meeting
- Au départ du rallye
- Aux parcs de regroupement
- Aux parcs de n d’étape
- A proximité du parc fermé lors de l’arrivée (ceci dans la mesure des
possibilités laissées par l’horaire du rallye).
FONCTION
- Apporter à tous les demandeurs des réponses précises aux questions posées.
- Donner toutes informations ou toutes précisions complémentaires relatives à la
réglementation et au déroulement du rallye.
CONCERTATION
Eviter la transmission aux Commissaires Sportifs de toutes les demandes qui peuvent
trouver, avec des explications précises, une solution satisfaisante, à la condition qu’il
ne s’agisse pas de réclamations (ex: fournir des explications sur les temps contestés
avec le concours des chronométreurs).
Le chargé des relations avec les concurrents s’abstiendra de toutes paroles ou actions
susceptibles de susciter des réclamations.
COMPETITORS' RELATIONS OFFICERS
PRINCIPAL MISSIONS
Inform the competitors and play a mediating role at all times.
This post must be entrusted to an ofcial in possession of a license isued by
their ASN as it implies a certain knowledge of the general regulations. They may
attend the meeting of the panel of the Stewards, in order to keep abreast of all
the decision taken.
The competitor’s relations ofcer must be able to be easily identied by the competitor’s.
To his end it is advisable that :
1) They wear a very conspicuous badge or a tabard.
2) They are introduced to the competitors at the drivers’ brieng.
3) Their photograph be included in the Supplementary Regulations or
in bulletin if possible.
PRESENCE DURING THE RALLY
When the Secretariat is opened, they sould have the secretary of the meeting
draft a schedule of their duties which shall be posted on the notice board of the rally
and which shall include :
- Presence at scrutineering
- At the secretariat of the Meeting
- At the start of the rally
- At the regrouping halts
- In the Parc Fermé at end of sections
- Near the parc fermé at the nish (the latter being dependent on the
rally timetable).

LA SECURITE DANS LE RALLYE INTERNATIONAL D’ANTIBES
1) SECURITE GENERALE
1.1 Plan de sécurité
Un plan de sécurité sera établi et comportera :
1.1.1 le lieu d’implantation de la Direction de Course : Hôtel GARDEN BEACH à JUAN LES PINS
1.1.2 le nom des différents responsables :

et le départ des épreuves spéciales, par téléphone et par radio.
1.2.3 Il sera chargé de l’application du plan de sécurité.

Une priorité essentielle du plan de sécurité est de garantir la sécurité du public se trouvant dans
les parages, spectateurs compris
Information
Une information principalement à l’attention du public sera effectuée par différents moyens:
* Médias écrits, parlés et télévisés
*Envoi aux riverains des informations sur le passage du rallye.
*Dans les épreuves spéciales,distribution de tracts 45 minutes avant le passage des concurrents
par les véhicules INFO.
Au verso de ces tracts sont imprimés les informations course destinées au public.
Les voitures INFO équipées de hauts parleurs s’arrêtent à tous les points sensibles et diffusent
des messages à l’intention du public et s'assurent, si nécessaire, que ceux qui occupent des
endroits dangereux en soient écartés.

3) SECURITE DES EQUIPAGES CONCURRENTS
3.1 Services de Sécurité
3.1.1 Au départ de chaque épreuve spéciale :
* 1 véhicule d'intervention avec un médecin réanimateur (Signe : REA 1)
* 2 ambulances et leur équipement
* 1 équipe de secouriste (Signe : Secours Public AMSAR)
* 1 dépanneuse
* 1 service de lutte incendie
3.1.2 Aux points intermédiaires du parcours dans les spéciales longues (+ de 15 km) :
* 1 médecin avec 1 ambulance et son équipement
* 1 équipe de secouristes
* 1 dépanneuse
3.2 Mesures Préventives (Signalisation et balisage)
3.2.1 Les routes et chemin d’accès aux épreuves seront fermés à la circulation.
3.2.2 Les voitures d'ouverture vérieront la mise en place du dispositif et aviseront immédiatement le PC du
rallye de toute omission qui seront réparées avant le commencement de l'épreuve spéciale.
3.2.3 Des postes de commissaires seront répartis sur le parcours an de: - faire respecter les emplacements
interdits aux spectateurs à l’aide de panneaux, cordages, sifets et hauts parleurs;
-avertir les équipages, dans la mesure du possible, au moyen de drapeaux jaunes, de
toute obstruction.
3.2.4 Utilisation du drapeau jaune (voir annexe 4 FIA- 3.2.4)
3.3 Surveillance
3.3.1 Un réseau radio(implantation tous les 5 km maximum - de 6 à 25 points secours radio suivant la
longueur du parcours) spécique à chaque épreuve spéciale sera mis en place pour permettre le
suivi des véhicules et la surveillance du déroulement du rallye.
3.3.2 Chaque point radio sera identié sur le carnet d'itinéraire et, sur le parcours par un panneau
portant le symbole du point radio.
3.3.3 Un panneau avertisseur sera placé 100 mètres avant le point radio.
3.3.4 Toutes les ambulances stationneront à un point radio. Un panneau supplémentaire (croix blanche sur
fond bleu) se trouvera à cet endroit en dessous du panneau de point radio.
3.3.5 Le suivi des véhicules sera effectué à la fois au PC du rallye et par le chef de sécurité
de l'épreuve spéciale.
3.4 Carnet d'itinéraire (Croix Rouge/OK)
Le carnet d'itinéraire contiendra une croix rouge et un signe OK qui seront à la disposition des
équipages pour signaler les suites d'un accident. La régle d'utilisation de ces signes gurera dans
les instructions remises aux concurrents avant le départ du rallye.
3.5 Evacuation
3.5.1 Un itinéraire d'évacuation est prévu pour chaque épreuve spéciale.
3.5.2 Les services d'urgence de tous les hôpitaux situés près du parcours seront en état d'alerte.
3.5.3 Un hélicoptère de sécurité de l'organisation sera présent sur le parcours. Les deux hélicoptères de
la Protection Civile seront en alerte et pourront également intervenir.
4 Passages avant la première voiture :
A - moins 1 heure : voiture sécurité tricolore qui vérie la mise en place des commissaires et
du dispositif sécurité de chacune des ES et rend compte au Directeur de Course des conditions
d’utilisation des routes pour la course.
B - moins 55 minutes : voiture médicale avec médecin à bord pour éventuelle défection ou retard
d’un des médecins prévus sur les E.S
C - moins 30 à moins 45 minutes : voitures INFO
D - moins 10 à 20 minutes : voiture 00 . Dernière vérication du dispositif et de l’état de la route
E - moins 5 à moins 15 minutes : voiture 0

NB: Toutes les voitures sont munies de radioémetteurs en liaison directe avec la Direction de Course. Les
missions des voitures INFO, 0 et 00 comportent un découpage de l’itinéraire divisé entre plusieurs
voitures qui permet la continuité des missions même en cas d’incident.

CHALLENGE
TRIDENT
A N T I B E S - YPRES - 1000 MIGLIA
Les Organisateurs des Rallyes : RALLYE D’ANTIBES , RALLYE 24 HEURES D’YPRES
et RALLYE 1000 MIGLIA organisent un challenge permanent ouvert à tous les pilotes
régulièrement licenciés, prenant le départ des trois rallyes. Ce challenge appelé
«TRIDENT» concerne les concurrents indiqués sur la feuille d’engagement comme
Premier CONDUCTEUR.
Article 1 :
Le premier du classement général «SCRATCH», tous groupes confondus, dans
chaque rallye, marque un point, le deuxième 2 points, etc...Les pilotes ayant abandonné
bénécieront d’un nombre de points égal au nombre des classés augmenté de 5 points
Article 2 :
Le classement du challenge se fait dans l’ordre croissant des points obtenu par
les pilotes. Est déclaré vainqueur le pilote ayant obtenu le plus petit nombre de points après
avoir été classé dans les trois rallyes.
Article 3 :
Chaque organisateur dote à tour de rôle le challenge des prix et de coupes
qui sont offerts aux trois premiers pilotes gurant au classement publié à l’issue de
chaque rallye. Pour recevoir ces récompenses la présence d’un membre de l’équipage
est obligatoire à la distribution des prix.
Article 4 :
A chaque épreuve les prix suivants seront attribués.

Article 5 :
Chaque organisateur membre du TRIDENT apportera une aide efcace à trois
équipages, au moins et cinq au plus, de son pays ou de sa propre Association Sportive
Automobile pour qu’ils prennent le départ dans les autres Rallyes.
Article 6 :
Chaque organisateur donnera la gratuité de l’engagement et, au minimum,
un hébergement pour six personnes pendant six jours à chacun des équipages venant des
autres clubs organisateurs. Pour pouvoir bénécier de ces conditions, le concurrent devra
verser une somme de 300 € à titre de caution pour valider son engagement. Cette somme lui
sera remboursée au départ du rallye.
Article 7 :
Les cas non prévus au présent règlement seront réglés par une commission
composée des Présidents, ou de leurs représentants accrédités, de chacun des clubs
organisateurs.

are considered as «Judge of facts».
3 - ENTRIES
3.1 - OPENING AND CLOSING DATES

3.2 - ENTRY PROCEDURE
Anybody wishing to take part in the XXXVIIIth RALLYE D'ANTIBES - RALLYE D'AZUR
must send to the Rally Secretariat :

the attached entry form duly completed. Requests sent by fax will only be taken into
consideration if they are accompanied by a photocopy of the postal order or telegraphic
postal order for the amount of the entry fee.
If this entry form is sent by fax, the original must reach the organizer at the latest one
week after the closing of entries.
Details concerning the co-driver can be lled in up to the moment of scrutineering, which
means Thursday 23rd october 2003.
The entry application will be accepted only if accompagned by :
a) the total entry fees or by a receipt issued by the competitor's National
Sporting Authority;

b) a photocopy of the homologation form of the car (rst page);
c) a photocopy of the "carte grise" (log book) of the car, or the corresponding
document for foreigners; if necessary the authorisation in writing of the
cars’ owner;
d) of ONE photograph, passport size (4X4cm) for each crew member;
e) photocopies of the entrants race licenses as well as of each crew member's
driving licenses.
3.3 - NUMBER OF ENTRANTS AND CLASSES
3.3.1 Maximum number of entrants : 160
3.3.2 ELIGIBLE VEHICLES
Eligible vehicles are those which are homologated, at the date of scrutineering, according
to the prescriptions of Appendix "J" of the International Sporting Code for:
* Touring cars ( Group A) including the World Rally Cars
* Productions cars (Group N)
The addition of a lower protective shield is permitted.
Production cars (GROUP N) are split up into the following 4 capacity classes:
CLASS 1 :
up to 1.400 cc
CLASS 2 :
over 1.400 cc and up to 1.600 cc
CLASS 3 :
CLASS 4 :
over 2.000 cc
Touring cars (GROUP A), including the World Rally Cars, are split up into the
following 4 capacity classes :

up to 1.400 cc
over 2.000 cc
3.3.3 - The use of silvery or browned lm is allowed on side windows and the rear
window. Mudaps are allowed (See Appendix J - Art.252/7.7). The addition of a
lower protective shield is permitted.
3.4 - ENTRY FEES
3.4.1 With the optional advertising proposed by the organizers :

If it is observed that the optional advertisement has been taken off during the progress of the
event, the payment of the applicable mark up will be demanded immediately.

The entry fees include two «Assistance» stickers, numbered per competitor, an assistance
book and entry tickets for each park.. These stickers must compulsorily be stuck on the
windscreen of the cars allowed to enter the parks. In each park only one «Assistance»
car will be allowed per competitor. Compulsorily it will have to bear an «ASSISTANCE»
sticker and to present the entry ticket for the park concerned
One «Auxiliaire» sticker plus an «Assistance Book», for juridical competitors entrant team,
are at their disposition for the sum of 100 € TTC within the limit of 4 per competitor. Two
«Auxiliaire» vehicles maximum will be authorized per park.
3.5 - PAYMENT
The entry fees will be made by cash at the rally secretariat, checks or bank
transfer (any bank fees have to be paid by the competitor. The full amount has to be
paid during the administrative checks).
3.6 - REFUNDS
Entry fees will be refunded in full :
3.6.1 to candidates whose entry has not been accepted;
3.6.2 In the case of the rally not taking place.
The Organizers will refund part of the entry fee to these entrants who, for reasons of
"Force Majeure", were unable to start the rally, on condition that a registered letter to
that effect be sent to the organizers.
The amounts retained will be as follow :
- 20 % for requests received up to 10 days before the rally
- 40 % for requests received until scrutineering.
No refund will be made for competitors not admitted at the administrative or
technical verication or for non conformity of the vehicle or non-presentation of
necessary documents.
4 - INSURANCE
4.1 -
The entry fees include the insurance premium, which guarantees the competitor
cover for civil liability towards third parties. The insurance cover will come into effect
from the start and will cease at the end of the rally or at the moment of retirement,
disqualication or exclusion.
4.2 -
Insurance guarantees :

Personnel and the equipments of the administrative authority
- Risk B :
Civil Responsability of the organizer towards the competitors
- Risk C :
Civil Responsability between competitors,
- Risk D :
Civil Responsability of the competitors towards his passengers
and his team mate.
4.3 -
The general conditions of the policy will notably stipulate that the guarantee will
grant up to six million ninety seven thousand nine hundred and sixty of euros
(6.097.960 €) per accident concerning bodies’ injuries, and three hundred and
four thousand eight hundred and ninety eight of euros (304.898 €) per accident
concerning material damages.
In case of an accident, the competitor or his representative will have to declare it in writing
and at the latest within three days. In case a breakdown service is used in a special stage
or on a road section, the expenses are at the cost of the competitor.

If a driver participating in a rally is implicated in an accident during which a member of
the public is hurt, the driver concerned must notify it at the next radio point specied in
the road-book and displayed on the itinerary by a board bearing the symbol of the radio
point.If he fails to observe this rule, the Stewards may impose on the crew responsible a
penalty which may go as far as exclusion (see FIA Appendix IV/2.5)
4.5 -
The service vehicles, even those bearing special plates issued by the organiser,
may never be considered as ofcial participants in the rally. They are therefore
not covered by the insurance policy of the event and remain the sole responsibility
of their owner.
5 - ADVERTISING
5.1 -
The compulsory advertising on the competition numbers will be :

cm (transparent sticker for the rear) will be:

5.3 -
Competitors must make sure of the correct positioning of the advertising during the
entire rally Any absence or bad apposition of an optional or obligatory advertising,
if need be, entails a penalty of one thousand ve hundred euros (1.500 €) at the
1st observation and a penalty of three thousand euros (3.000 €) if repeated at each
supplementary observation during the rally, this in addition to the rule foreseen in
article 6.1.2 concerning the optional advertising.
5.4 -
Presentation of the car (see page 31)
6 - IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS
6.1 - PLATES
The rally plates must be xed to the front and rear of the car in a visible position for
the duration of the Rally. The front plate must under no circumstances cover, even partially,
the car's licence plate. Such an infringement shall result in a cash penalty of 80 €.
6.2 -
COMPETITION NUMBERS
The competition numbers supplied by the organizers must appear on both front doors
and on the roof of the cars during the whole rally.
If it is ascertained at any time during the rally that :
- any one competition number or rally plate is missing, a cash penalty will be imposed
of 160 €, per observation
6.3 -
- that two competition numbers or rally plates are missing at the same time,
exclusion will be pronounced
The names of the driver and co-driver, plus their national ags, must appear on
both sides of the wings at the front of the car or on the rear side windows, in accordance

with article 7.2 of the 2003 Rally General Prescriptions. Any car failing to comply with this
rule shall be subject to a cash penalty of 80 €
7 - TYRES
7.1 - Tyres (see General Regulations FIA 2003 Appendix V)
7.2 - Tyre marking procedure
The marking of the tyres is obligatory for all competitors.
At the start from each service park the four tyres mounted on the car and the
two possible spare tyres will be marked using a special ink, the same color
for all the competitors.
The same marking procedure will be made at each park with a different ink color.
The tyres not used for the last special stages or already used according to the rules
can be marked again.
A specic zone for the marking of the tyres is situated at the end of the refuelling zone
and it’s way in and way out is indicated by a rally sign showing tyres marking. A member
of the team of each car can have access to this zone only in the pupose to help for the
tyres marking procedure and only when the car is situated in the marking zone.
Control
At any time during the event, controls may be carried out to check the conformity
of the tyres.
Any tyre, which is not in conformity, will be marked with a special stamp
and must not be used.
At the time control before the start of a special stage, if a scrutineer notes
that a tyre mounted on the vehicle is not in conformity as regards the minimum
depth (see point 4.4.2 of the tyre regulations) the competitor must replace this
tyre with one carried on board his vehicle, on condition that the replacement tyre
is in conformity, before taking the start.
The post chief will then issue the competitor with a new starting time for the
start of the special stage concerned.
Any breach of the tyre regulations will be submitted to the Stewards
and may result in a penalty, Art.152 and 153 of Sporting Code which may go
as far as the exclusion of the crew by the Stewards.
8 - FUEL

9 - TESTING
9.1 - NATIONAL RESTRICTIONS
No testing can be done or be organised on all or a part of a road section
or special stage (even with reconnaissance cars)
10 - RECONNAISSANCE
Reconnaissance, restricted in both duration and number of passes, has been organised
according to the FIA général prescription as follows :
10.1 - PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
The Road Book will be at the disposal of the duly entered competitors in the ofces of
the ASSOCIATION SPORTIVE AUTOMOBILE D’ANTIBES JUAN LES PINS, as from
Monday, 6th October, 2003. Each crew will be allowed one free copy that may be sent
to them by post, at a cost of 20 € TTC for postage costs.
Extra copies may be bought for 80 € TTC (plus postage costs) per copy. A
sticker showing the number attributed to the competitor for the reconnaissances
will be given to the crew.
This sticker will have to be compulsory afxed on the reconnaissances vehicle.
10.2 - SCHEDULE
The duration of reconnaissances is of four days maximum.

Two additional road-homologated headlamps are authorised.
The rims are free within the limits of Appendix J, Group N, and

The crew may use a «light» intercommunication system (without
helmets)
10.3.2 PENALTIES
Any infringement of the reconnaissance regulations will be reported to the
Stewards who may apply penalties under Article 152 of the Code as follows:
10.3.2.1 Penalties for:
- Non conformity of reconnaissance car with the above article
- Non apposition of reconnaissance sticker
- Form of reconnaissance not on board of the vehicle and not
returned during of administrative scrutineering.
1st infringement : penalties from 1 to 3 minutes and/or 160 euros cash
2nd infringement : start refused and 320 euros cash
10.3.2.2 Penalties for:
- being on the course on days forbidden by these rules
- being on the course at hours forbidden by these rules
- more than 4 passages
- infringement of the highway rules
- excessive speed
1st infringement : penalties from 5 minutes and 160 euros cash
2nd infringement : start refused and 320 euros cash
These last two points ( infringement of the highway rules and excessive speed)
will only be taken into consideration if originating from the Gendarmerie or a sworn
person ( Mayor, national or municipal police) and each le will be transmitted to
the Disciplinary Commission of the F.I.A. and the F.F.S.A.

starting system. One second before the start, the countdown shows «01» with 5 red
points above. At the start the 5 red points light off and the countdown shows «00»)
This system will be coupled to the jump start detection device, which is 40 cm in
front of the start line, that records any situation where a car leaves the start
line ahead of the signal.

15.7 - RETIREMENT IN A ROAD SECTION
In case of abandon in a road section, the competitor must notify the most quickly possible
the Clerk of the Course by using the telephone number indicated on the information note
that has been given out at the scrutineering. Any infringement will be submitted to the
Stewards of the Meeting who will determine the sanction to be applied.
15.8 - INFRINGEMENT CARD
At the start of the Rally, each crew will receive a notebook of infringements on which will
be noted, by the Police or Gendarmerie, eventual infringements to trafc regulations.
This notebook must be returned at the end of the Rally with the timecard. The penalty
for non compliance with this rule is exclusion. In case of retirement, the restitution of
this notebook is equally compulsory.
During all the rally, the competitors must strictly follow the trafc regulations
in France. In case of infringement to the trafc regulations, penalties will be applied
as follows : - 1st infringement

15.9 - Spinning and various gures (of cars) are forbidden in the Parc Fermé. In case

16.3 - OTHER POINTS
16.3.1 All assistance by air is forbidden under pain of exclusion.
16.3.2 During all the duration of the rally, the dispositions of the article 12 of the
General Prescriptions of the 2003 FIA Rally Championship will be applicable,
as well as the Article 5 of the 2003 European Championship.
The good observation of these prescriptions will be veried by the ofcials of
the rally and any infringement will be submitted to the Stewards of the Meeting
who will determine what sanction to apply.
16.3.3 The «ASSISTANCE» or «AUXILIAIRE» stickers must compulsorily be stuck
on the windscreen of the cars allowed to enter the parks. In each
park only one «ASSISTANCE» car will be allowed per competitor and
two «AUXILIAIRE» cars for competitors legal persons. Compulsorily it will
have to bear an «ASSISTANCE» or «AUXILIAIRE» sticker and to present
the entry ticket for the park concerned

20.3 - OTHERS CLASSIFICATIONS
20.3.1 A “Foreign Teams“ classication will be published taking in account these
foreign teams that have at least 3 crews at the start and whose team name is
mentioned ofcially on the entry form and starting list.
This classication will be done by adding the times of the two best placed crews.
Teams having less than two crews at the arrival will not be classied.
20.3.2 A “Promotion“ classication will be published. This classication will be
restricted to those rst drivers entered as FFSA licensed competitors who do not
appear on a “FFSA priority“ list of the current or previous year.
Only cars of class N1, N2, N3, A5, A6 that do not belong to a maker or
importer, will be allowed.
These classes will be considered as one in this “Promotion“ classication.
20.3.3 Any disputes shall be examined by the panel of the stewards of the
meeting whose decision shall be nal.
21 - PROTESTS - APPEALS
21.1 - PROTEST FEES
Amount of protest fee as xed by the F.F.S.A. :

If the protest requires the dismantling and the re-assembly of different parts of a car,
the claimant must pay an additional deposit :
21.1.1 For a protest involving a clearly dened part of the car (engine,

21.1.3 The expenses incurred by the works and by the transport of the car shall be
borne by the claimant if the protest is unfounded, or by the competitor against whom

(scrutineering, transport, etc.) are higher than the guarantee deposit, the difference
shall be borne by the claimant. On the contrary, if the expenses are inferior, the

SAFETY IN THE INTERNATIONAL RALLY OF ANTIBES
1) GENERAL SAFETY
1.1 Safety Plan
A safety plan must be established and incorporate :
1.1.1 the location of the Race Control :

1.1.4 the full itinerary with detailed road sections (APPENDIX 1) is annexed to the general security plan.
1.1.5 the safety plans of each special stage, telephone numbers,etc., plus detailed map of the
special stage.
1.1.6 The safety plan anticipates dispositions that ensure the security of the public, competing
crews and the ofcials of the event.
1.2 Chief Safety Ofcer
1.2.1 The Assistant Chief Safety Ofcer, Mr Michel RODIN, will belong to the Organizing Committee and
has taken part in the devising of the safety plan.
1.2.2 During the Rally, he will be in permanent communication with Race Control, the Chief Medical
Ofcer and the start of the special stages, by telephone and radio.
1.2.3 He will be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the safety plan.
1.3 Special Stage Safety Ofcer
1.3.1 Each special stage will have a Safety Ofcer who will assist the Chief Safety Ofcer.
1.3.2 The special stage safety ofcer must inspect his stage and certify its conformity with the safety
plan before to the passage of the car 0.
1.4 Control
1.4.1 The clerk of course shall be ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with the safety plan.
1.4.2 In FIA Championship rallies the observer will pay special attention to all safety procedures.
2) SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC
A major priority of the safety plan is to ensure the safety of the general public including spectators.
Information
An information mainly for the attention of the public will be undertaken by different means:
* Written, spoken and televised media
* Dispatch to the roadside residents of information on the passage of the rally.
* In special stages, distribution of pamphlets 45 minutes before the passage of competitors
by INFO vehicles.
On the back of these pamphlets are printed race information destined for the public.
INFO cars equipped with loud speakers that will stop at all sensitive points and distribute
messages intended to the public and where necessary ensure that any who are in dangerous
places are removed from those areas.

3) SAFETY OF THE COMPETING CREWS
3.1 Safety Services
3.1.1 At the start of each special stage :
* 1 intervention vehicle with a doctor specialised in resuscitation. (Sign : REA 1)
* 2 ambulances and their equipment
* 1 rescue team (Sign : Securité Public AMSAR)
* 1 breakdown vehicle
* 1 re-ghting service
3.1.2 At intermediary points on the route for long stages (more than 15 km):
1 doctor - 1 ambulance and its equipment - 1 rescue team - 1 breakdown vehicle
3.2 Preventative Measures (Signalling and road markings)
3.2.1 Roads and access roads leading to stages must be closed to trafc.
3.2.2 The opening cars will verify the installation of the organization and will inform immediately the HQ of
the rally of any omission that will be corrected before the beginning of the special stage.
3.2.3 Marshals' posts will be positioned along the course so as to:
- keep the public outside prohibited areas by means of boards, barriers or ropes, whistles
and loud-speakers
- as far as possible, warn crews of any obstructions in the special stage, by the use of yellow ags.
3.2.4 Use of the yellow ag (FIA appendix IV see 3.2.4)
3.3 Supervision
3.3.1 A radio network (set up at the most every 5 km - 6 to 25 radio points depending of the length of
the stage) unique to each special stage,must be established to allow the vehicles to be tracked and
the running of the rally to be supervised.
3.3.2 Each radio point shall be identied in the road book and by a sign on the road, bearing
the radio point symbol.
3.3.3 In addition there shall be a warning sign 100 m prior to the SOS radio points.
3.3.4 Any ambulance within a stage should be located at a radio point. An additional sign (white cross on
blue background) should be located beneath the radio point sign at this point.
3.3.5 The tracking of vehicles will be undertaken both to the HQ of the rally and by the chief of
security of the special stage.
3.4 Roadbook (Red Cross/OK)
The roadbook will contain a red cross and a OK sign that will be at the disposal of the crews to
signal the sequels of an accident. The rules for the use of these signs will gure in the instructions
given out to the competitors before the start of the rally.
3.5 Evacuation
3.5.1 An evacuation itinerary is planned for each special stage.
3.5.2 Emergency services of all hospitals near the route will be on standby.
3.5.3 A security helicopter of the organization will be present on the course. The two helicopters of the
Protection Civile will be on alert and will also be able to intervene.
4 Passages before the rst car:
A - minus 1 hour : "tricolore" car that veries the installation of marshals and the security
organization of each SS and renders account to the Clerk ot the Course about conditions
of use of the roads for the race.
B - minus 55 minutes : medical car with doctor on board for possible defection or delay of
one of the doctors foreseen on SS
C - minus 30 to minus 45 minutes: INFO cars
D - minus 10 to 20 minutes: 00 car. Last verication of the organization and the state of the road.
E - minus 5 to minus 15 minutes: 0 car in Race conditions
NB : All cars are equipped with radios in direct liaison with the clerk of the course. Missions of car
INFO, 0 and 00 comprise a breakdown of the itinerary divided between several cars that allows the
mission continuity even in case of an incident.

CHALLENGE TRIDENT
A N T I B E S - YPRES - 1000 MIGLIA
The organizers of the Rallies : RALLYE D’ANTIBES, RALLYE 24 HOURS of YPRES and
RALLYE 1000 MIGLIA are organizing a challenge open to all regularily licenced drivers, duly
starting in these three rallies. This challenge called "TRIDENT" refers to those competitors
entered on the entry form as "First Driver".
Article 1 :
For each rally, the rst of the scratch classication, all groups together, receives
one point, the second, two points, etc...Drivers who have abandonned will be credited with the
same number of points as there were cars classied in the rally plus 5 points.
Article 2 :
The classication of the challenge shall be done in increasing order of the
points obtained by the drivers. Is declared winner the driver who has the smallest number of
points after having been classied in all three rallies.
Article 3 :
Each organizer in turn awards cups for the challenge that shall be offered to
the rst three drivers classied in the classication published after each rally. To receive these
cups, one of the crew members must attend the prize giving.
Article 4 :

Each of the TRIDENT organizers will help efciently three crews at the

persons for 6 days, for each of the crews coming from the other organizing clubs. To be able
be benet of these terms, the competitor must pay 300 € as deposit to validate his entry. This
sum shall be returned at the start of the rally.
Article 7 :
Any case not foreseen in these regulations shall be settled by a
commission composed of the Presidents, or their accredited representatives, of each
of the organizing clubs.
The tourist impact of the "RALLYE INTERNATIONAL D'ANTIBES- RALLYE D'AZUR"
does not need to be insisted upon. The Organizing Committee wishes to call
the attention to the villages that receive us, from the Authorities, the Medias,
the Competitors and the Public.
We would thank all the people taking part in the "XXXVIIIth RALLYE INTERNATIONAL
D'ANTIBES - RALLYE D'AZUR" to help as much as possible the local commercial
activities of the "haut pays", or back-country, so as to thus enhance the friendly
spirit and the understanding that our Rally enjoys with all the inhabitants.
