OVERVIEW
This is a family property that is in it’s 8th generation. It is
located 20 km south east of Nantes, the vineyards of Varieties: Melon de
Bourgogne, Chardonnay,
Muscadet Sevre and Maine in the Loire Valley. Raphael Gamay, Merlot...
operates the field with his father, Remy, succeeding seven Total Acreage: 6 acres
generations of winemakers from father to son. Harvest for for the chardonnay—
winemaking, they know how to combine traditional methods more for domaine as a
whole
and modern methods for obtain quality wines particularly
fruity and elegant respecting nature and diversity of terroirs
Regular medal in national competition, these wines, due to anticipation and know how ancestral make all the reputation of the estate.

Domaine R de la Grange Chardonnay 2010
Grown in the cool Loire Valley on clay and silica soils, this Chardonnay offers
beautiful restrained fruit, and enough bright acidity to be an excellent glass pour
with fine cuisine.
INFORMATION ON VIN DU PAY
Chardonnay come to the Loire in the Middle ages..
“Vin de Pays du Jardin de la France, the evocative official name of Vin de Pays
from anywhere within the extensive Loire region, is to be replaced by the more
prosaic Vin de Pays du Val de Loire. I suppose it's clearer but I will miss that phrase
that conjures up the Garden of France.
The Vin de Pays committees have been working overtime. Vin de Pays du Val de
Loire joins other new names such as Vin de Pays des Gaules (from the Beaujolais
region), Vins de Pays de l'Atlantique (Bordeaux) and Vins de Pays Vignobles de
France (from anywhere in France - a highly controversial move, as explained in our
article here). This last one is designed to allow bottlers to blend wines from very
different regions together - dancing on the grave of terroir to a certain extent.
Vins de Pays have been selling well however. In the US, fifth more important export
